@lovemyalex: Congratulations to your daughter! Awesome!
@Janet: Congratulations on your 10th Disney Challenge. When you think about it, Disney makes a killing at this event. So glad they gave you some special recognition for 10 years. 😊 I love the $7,000 lunch box.
Just something a runner from my local running group shared with me when I started running. He told me to pay myself for my training miles. Pay yourself a $.25, $.50 or $1.00 for each mile you run. I do it based on what I am doing. I give myself a.25 for each bike mile, 50 for each walking mile and $1.00 for each running mile. At the end of the year, I have at least 1k of money. I use it for new shoes or entrance fees. My elementary PE students didn’t understand why I would pay myself to do something fun, but they did suggest I give it to charities.
Don’t ask me where I have been the last 9 days..wait, I know…..puppy consumption of eat, pee, sleep, repeat all day. I am finally getting him to walk up to the top of my street twice a day. My hubby went back east to bury his motherland when he returns, my pups parents are coming till next Thursday., so we will get a couple long walks or runs in during the day..yeah.

I got you, @ANACONDA469!
I walked 1 mile on the treadmill tonight. It was noticeably easier than the last time so that's good.

@clepant - what a gorgeous pup!
@JTH11706 - well done on another Disney Challenge
I started the year well, I thought. Picked up my Pilates and strength training again … then fell off my kitchen step stool and got myself a Non-displaced scaphoid fracture. Not a happy bunny.

@k80flec - Oh drat. I don't know what that is but it just sounds painful. I hope you are up and about soon.
I had my first post-Disney run this morning. Even though the weather was terrific I was as slow as molasses. No idea why. Well, here's to faster runs in the future.
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.2 -

I just finished 6.0 miles on the exercise bike. Felt good.
@K80FLEC - Noooo!!!! I'm so sorry you're hurt again!I hope it heals quickly.
@CARARQ - Congrats!!! You're going to love having a treadmill when the weather is not so great for exercising outdoors. I hope I never have to go without one ever again. I watch a lot of YouTube videos while I'm on it. Have fun with it!
