I really loved our February theme of treating ourselves with more love, kindness, and compassion (Thanks, @MadisonMolly2017!). I think there's a related principle to loving ourselves more that we might explore this month: reigning in our self doubt, a negative self-image, or that nagging feeling that we can't accomplish something that we want to achieve. Why don't we March all over our self doubts this month?
How do you change an unhelpful self image? One strategy recommended by James Clear is to clearly state your desired perception and then prove it to yourself with small wins. Many of our members already use this strategy when they specify their goal for the month with an affirmation like, "I am a person who values the health and fitness of body mind and soul" and "I am a person that does workouts she enjoys". These affirmations have real power to change our self-image and thus our lives, especially when backed-up with concrete, doable daily actions.
Whatever you decide to work on this month, let's make it a great March!

My March objectives.
I am committed to my wellness both physically and mentally.
I am going to finish my 100 mile challenge for winter.
I am going to continue to eat more meatless meals (includes chicken and fish).

Good theme for the month!
My March goal is to get better control of my eating. I have eating back my exercise calories for most of my time on MFP, but my ankle rehab has shown me that I need to stop doing that. I like tracking my exercise, and I find seeing the calories burnt because I find it motivating, so I’m not ready to only post ”Kathy spent 60 minutes climbing Mt Everest and burnt 1 calorie.” So I’m planning on staying at or around my basic calorie goal without adding in any exercise. I’ve been doing that the last couple weeks, and that seems to help the scale move a bit in the right direction.6 -

I have rather a lot on this month so am concentrating on consolidating my Solid Habits this month, particularly tracking CI < CO, staying under calorie goal, and exercise. I am currently maintaining at around 7 lbs below my upper weight limit.
However, I have also decided to resurrect my Happiness Jar. I did this with a friend a few years ago, and still have the notes I put in it then.

I am happy to be back here this month and am ready to March forward. February was a busy and overwhelming month, as I knew it would be, and I am glad it is over 🥳 The following will be my daily habits for March:
• I am a person who eats a variety of colourful vegetables to lessen the sugar impact from using fruit as the sole source for her 7-10 a day.
• I am a person who practices mindful meditation to create a sense of peace and well being.
• I am a person who does at least one small housecleaning task every day in order to not become overwhelmed.

Great start to the month!
I am Denise and I am a very strong person. This March I'm going to become even stronger!
This month I want to work on both my physical and mental strength. For physical strength I'm going to concentrate my efforts on boxing in the VR fitness app, Supernatural. I really love boxing and smashing targets! This week I got the highest score in boxing, a Diamond, for being accurate, fast, and powerful in my blocks and punches. I don't need a Diamond score each time I box this month, but I will be doing my best. It certainly didn't hurt that it's women's history month and the workout I did finished with Katy Perry's Roar.
For mental strength, I'm going to focus on doing at least one thing each day that I'd rather not do and would instead prefer to put off. These little unpleasant things are so easy to delay. It's human nature to look for the easier way out. But to me, doing hard things is a key component of strength. So today... You guessed it! I started filing my taxes.5 -

March says it all, marching forward, not letting unexpected circumstances (eg an unplanned dinner out with friends) sway my goals for health and weight loss with guilt or disappointment because you are sidetracked. Learning to enjoy the moment and get right back on track. So far so good! Loving MFP!5
