@DebJB30 It does take awhile to balance out in maintenance, you’re doing great!
@Cornanda Yep we’d both be perfectionists making the perfect bread and getting chubby!
@Brigit02 You’ve been putting in a lot of time in the garden, I want to see pics if you’re willing to share.
@AmbersWay How long will you be in Turkey? I can’t imagine all the stress getting ready for that big of a vacation/leave! Have a great time with your friends tomorrow.
@tcritter69 Sounds like working in the house with that heat is a great idea! I like that you’re donating and getting rid of everything left from the sale instead of it ending up in your garage, that’s a smart call. I still have some bags of clothes I was going to take to Goodwill before they stopped taking things for COVID and some books to take to lending libraries. I need to channel you! I love your vertical vines, what are those ones? I can’t click on the photo to zoom in, I was planning to do that with my cucumbers and melons but it was my last project to build the trellises when my back conked out after the tomatoes and peppers. I have a cucamelon and I put it next to the green beans to share, I have a bunch of sticks going to a small trellis, it actually is working but is definitely a poor woman’s trellis! Everything in your garden looks great! I love the herb labels too!
@trooworld Oh good I’m glad you’re seeing your doctor tomorrow, I was wondering if you’d gone. I’m glad you aren’t worse but wish you were feeling a little better. Good luck at work today.
@shaunarlr83 Congratulations on top individual loss and individual lbs lost last week, woot woot!
Go Mission Slimpossibles coming in second!
@shaunarlr83 @DebJB30 @tfelts147 Top losers of the last week, awesome job team!
@tammymccrady6278 Sounds like the perfect day, love your attitude and it sounds like it’s all falling into place.
@mkksemail Sounds like a fun family night! Oh no glad you were able to get in for the lab, if you hadn’t had such a fun night I’d be worried it had to do with your medicine tweak as far as sleeping in! Very cool they got you in.
@shaunarlr83 You just keep growing more and more awesome, I don’t know how you do it! Talk about blooming where you landed, you’re the definition of that saying!
Hi everyone! Had a good workout this morning, took care of stuff at my brother’s, and got some new plants in and now I have some charity stuff to do. Took it easy in between as I’m a little worn out today and need to recharge some. Have a great Tuesday everyone! Still doing good on No Zeros and probably 75% good on body mechanics.

OMG @katmary71- everyone please google cucamelon and look how cute they are!4

@txcritter69 Your garden is looking great! I am into gardening too. Started gardening during the pandemic; added a little more each year - now it seems like it is taking over my yard! LOL. Started off as a container garden, then we made a little in the ground garden. This year added another container area, and my back deck. 😁 Things were looking good until today - some kind of critter got my peas and cucumbers! I bet it was the stinker groundhog that loves my front porch (its a good thing he's cute).
Tomatoes, herbs, corn, and my destroyed peas and cucumbers.
Broccolli
Brussel Sprouts
Mostly different varieties of peppers
Potatoes
Tomatoes, Squash, Watermelon and More Potatoes
Carrots and another Potato (if they all produce don't know what we will do with 1000 pound of potatoes - but the bag of potatoes we had all had ears, so planted them all) and the ones on the side are sweet potato - that aren't doing very well.

LOVE the gardening pix!!
Ok, def going to Google cucamelon next! 😅
troo ... Hoping you feel better soon ❤️🩹. Having stomach pains for an extended period is not nothing 😬. So frustrating they can't DX the issue 😟1 -

Weigh-In Tuesday
SW: 245
Maintenance Goal 135 - 140
Weeks in maintenance 25 of 52
PW: 137.0
CW: 137.4
25 weeks and counting. I had a rough week last week but with so many people keeping an eye on me I don't want to let anybody down. I chat with my shrink next week and I wanted to report that I'm still doing well and staying under 140. I had a mammogram today, expecting good results since it's just a checkup. I eat my radishes sliced and I dip them in salsa sometimes. I got a new jar of pickles ate the market on Monday. I have been craving extra nuts, and yesterday I reached for my go to foods instead. I love this flavor and can eat the entire bag at a go.
I love the Gardening pictures. Thank you for sharing.
Congratulations to the team members @shaunarlr83 @DebJB30 @tfelts147 who are on the leaderboard, well done.
@Katmary71 I love your garden, I'm wishing you all the best with your health issues. Did you get hooked up with a neurosurgeon?4 -
@Cornanda LOL it IS super cute, it’s my first time growing it, I hope it does well.
@trooworld With not feeling good it makes sense not to walk, hang in there.
@ddainiak LOL he IS super cute, the videos of critters standing in front of cameras eating people’s produce in the garden are the best though it’s annoying when it’s your yard. My zucchini has had aphids before the flowers could bloom and I saw a squash bug AND a grasshopper on my summer squash earlier. My garden got way bigger with COVID too plus I stupidly let an annoying ex-boyfriend move in during that time and the garden was my escape from him. I love all your grow bags, that’s what I’m using too but have them crammed together and not all pretty like yours! Is that corn on the far right top? Everything looks amazing!
@mkksemail You’ll see why I couldn’t resist throwing in a cucumelon, hope it tastes good too! They were all stuck together at the nursery, I almost gave up on untangling it! Hope the tummy clears up.
@Brigit02 Very beautiful garden, I love all the flowers! What are the yellow ones? I’m just starting to get into flowers, they’re fun and the pollinators really love them in with all my veggies.
@FushiaKat Those nuts look amazing, yum! Good luck with your appointments. I’m still waiting on the neurosurgeon, things with the pain clinic are frustrating as they lost a few practicioners so everything is haphazard, I’ll make sure to run it by the pain doctor later this week. Thank you for your support, always wishing the best for you too.
Hi friends! I kept taking naps today, been one of those days. I’ve noticed even if I keep a greenhouse or farm day short if they’re two days in a row I’m wiped out for days afterward so I didn’t go today. I lagged on getting the charity stuff done so I’ll be doing it tomorrow. Did a good workout and fish emulsioned the garden and dried some herbs. I have Walmart pickup in an hour so I’m headed back outside. I trim the flowers off tomatoes and peppers when I plant them so more effort goes into the plant and it looks like a sungold will be the first tomato (we’re harvesting them already at the farm) and there’s a Johnny Nardello vs jalapeno vs Hungarian wax for first pepper. Rattlesnake beans are the first beans so far. Have a great Wednesday! I’m having my neighbor over for dinner tomorrow night to finally make the baked feta pasta, I’m expecting it to be extra amazing now that two nights of planning to make it fell through!
- Not too hot with body mechanics today but I DID order a smaller jug of cat litter instead of hauling the cheaper 32lb or 40lb pail around the house. That’s one of the things that went through my head when the last PA asked what I’d been doing to herniate discs! Aside of the PT I learned last year the cat litter and potting mix are the worst two things and the latter I always use the hand truck, I did go down on that too though the higher price bugs me!

@Katmary71 He isn't our groundhog, just a GIF I found. But ours is just as cute. Yes, the last pot is corn. We were successful growing last year, although they were really small. We had leftover seeds so planted again.2
-
@Katmary71 The yellow ones in front are Cosmos and the yellow/orange ones behind them are daylily's. I divide the daylily's yearly and in the fall collect some of the seeds from the cosmos and plant them the following year. (I only collect some because the birds like to eat them and it's fun to watch.)
I'm also growing herbs which are doing good. I haven't had too much success with vegetables.3 -
Saw this today 😁

Good Morning folks!
@shaunair83 you are doing great. You are right, no since in stress over anything if what you are doing is working.
@trooworld I hope you get to feeling better soon
@ddainiak I started this yr with the mini to see if I could do it. I love it. Your garden looks awesome. I am sorry that you peas and cucumbers were enjoyed by critters and not you. I worry about the deer getting in to my plants. So far I have been blessed.
@Katmary71 I use to take my stuff to goodwill but have recently been looking into local organizations that help the homeless and less fortunate. I feel if I am giving it away them it should be free for the person in need. Goodwill really does nothing for the community. The vertical vines are my pickle cucumbers. Next to it are my cantaloupes, beside that is watermelon vines with sweet peppers in between. I have been debating if I should transplant peppers to pots so watermelon has more room, but afraid I might kill the plants.
This mini garden has been a learning experience for me. This fall I am building my garden area. I have decided to go bigger. This is the pic I am use for my idea except I am going to use pallets for the fence and have wire fence around the top to keep the deer out.
Got to go for now. Have to get the outside work done before it gets to hot. Will check back later.

Congrats congrats congrats to the leaderboard makers 👏🏻
I have read but can’t do catch up now. I’m finishing up packing. I leave tmrw and I will stay there for a while, depending on some plans we’re still
considering. I signed my youngest up for a JumpFit course. I figured while she’s doing that I can get my steps in.
I had a great evening out. 14 turned into over 20. The Cheesecake factory loved us. 😂 it was nice. I laughed so much and that felt really good. I went 88 calories over yesterday but I can accept that. I’m usually under.
Have a great Wednesday

Love, love LOVE the gardens! What a nice way to start my day!
@trooworld - hope the last 15% of pain gets out and we are halfway through your stressful week!
@broncobuddee - that is a hilarious pic. I cannot imagine what @19shmoo69 would be like without coffee.

Does anyone else here garden? Love to see the pictures.2

My 36 hour fast seemed to work well for me last week.... half way into another 36 hours this week... it may be closer to 40 hours when I decide to end it tomorrow!

@Brigit02 OK they’re beautiful cosmos! I usually see the pink red and white ones around here and usually just in spring, I love them but they don’t like the hotter heat here. I’m glad the herbs are doing well!
@ddainiak Even more reason to work out!
@txcritter69 Nice I love seeing your garden! I put peppers in everywhere, I’m in the same boat as you wondering if they should be in with the watermelon but anything I’ve moved recently has died so they’re all stuck now. I have mine in grow pots too, they were supposed to be 7 gallon but were huge, I’m guessing more like 15 so hopefully it’s enough room for them all. Guess we’ll both find out! I love your garden idea, that would be perfect to have those raised beds!
@trooworld OK thank you for the recipe, I’ll go find it! My neighbor’s back was hurting so we skipped it, I took her a care package instead but have everything again to make it so I appreciate it. Oh no this has been a tough week for you, sending you hugs and tell those stinkers to back off and let you catch your breath!
@AmbersWay Safe travels! Only 88 calories over after The Cheesecake Factory is impressive!
@tfelts147 Wow that’s impressive fasting hours!
@mkksemail Hello my friend!
@19shmoo69 One of my neighbors has a coffee plant in her house, it’s only had a couple berries at the time so no big harvest but it’s a pretty bush : https://www.thespruce.com/grow-coffee-plants-1902614
Hi everyone! Did my workout and shopping then made some calls for the charity, I'm trying to get my shed organized as I usually just toss stuff on there and spent the afternoon doing that. My neighbor's not feeling well so we didn't have dinner, I took her some shrimp salad, bread, and ice cream and a bunch of books to read. Tonight's watering the veggies then I'm going to finish Galileo's Daughter. Have a great Thursday!4 -

Took a new hike yesterday that we have been meaning to try. Took the trail from Hurd State Park to Higganum Meadows. We hike at Hurd State Park a lot - but never took this trail. It was a little shorter than we usually walk, but a lot of up and down - elevation change 167 feet - didn't see a soul, so Monty got some off leash time.9

Good Morning folks!
Happy Thursday
@Katmary71 With the Texas heat and the possibility of pepper plants going into shock, I am just going to stick it out this year. I am so looking forward to the fall to get started on my garden.
Not to much happening here. Now that the yard sale is over and I have gotten my mini garden and plants square away. It is time to start on the house again. But not today🤣 Today my MIL is coming over so hubby can replace her rotors and brake pads.
I am also going to push myself to really
Log all my food intake today
Drink my water.
And be thankful that I have this beautiful life I live.
GO OUT AND BE AWESOME TODAY!!!5 -

@Brigit02 I do an Aerogarden inside on my dining room table. Here's a pic. The big vine on the right is baby yellow and red grape tomatoes that I need to replant. The big one on the very left is basil. I also have French thyme and heirloom spearmint planted. I tried to plant cilantro but it never grew. I don't have a green thumb so this is how I garden lol, it's nice and easy. Please excuse the cardboard box blocking the bright lights, it's early here lol no one wants that bright light in their face at 5am.
Nice! Growing herbs inside the house is smart. This way when you're cooking you can just reach over and grab fresh spices. Makes a difference in the taste IMO.1
