This week absolutely FLEEEEWWWW by! Can't believe it's already Friday. Have a great weekend, everyone and do your best to try to stay cool!!
After almost having heat exhaustion on the bike trip to Milwaukee last weekend, I have not ridden at all this week nor will I this weekend. I have an air-conditioned convertible that I will be riding in in comfort if I go anywhere! The only place I might go though is the also air-conditioned theater to see either Oppenheimer or Barbie or both. Otherwise, we'll be staying here at home and binging on "Yellowstone". I'm not really big on Western themed stuff, but so many people have watched it that I feel obligated to stay current. lol. We watched the first two episodes of season 1 last night. We'll see how it goes. Same with Game of Thrones. Never seen a single episode and I'm not terribly compelled other than because it was so popular.
I'm such a heat wimp this year. I have not been outdoors doing daily walks like most years. All of my exercising has been indoors on the treadmill or recumbent stationary bike. Oh well...it probably wouldn't be very smart to try to start now.

@Dave: I am so glad you survived the heat. The heat has been brutal. Last week I was working at my dad’s and nearly passed out from the heat. We got 1.25 of rain last night which we desperately needed and even though it was hot today, we actually had a breeze and I did not feel like I was swimming in a goldfish bowl.
Well today after my ortho appointment, I found out that my bicep tendon head and my rotator cuff has healed. The remaining pain is impingement syndrome and I got an injection for that and head to PT the week after next. Well maybe I will be good to go by winter.
Good weekend to everyone.

And that's goal for @Lovemyalex ! Woot!
I'm living the dream here. I was able to come to Europe for the week and we are not suffering a heat wave. On the other hand, I think everyone in the world is doing their post-pandemic travelling. Very crowded! I need to pick up the pace if I'm going to make my goal. Helping my son move really knocked me out of my groove. The good news is I don't have a car so I have to walk everywhere. 28/502 -
