@jessicakrall8 thank you,it absolutely poured down later but luckily I was in the warehouse at the time.I looked at all the furniture but didn't find anything suitable.
They have a lovely cafe & the cakes were very tempting but I was proud of myself for opting for soup & a roll.I ended getting the bus back as was pretty tired,done over 17,000 steps in the end.
It is a bank holiday this long weekend so will be good to spend time with family.

I've been tempted myself to buy some dog mace but have worried I'll wreck on my bicycle and mace myself. Had a lot of close calls with doggos. I like dogs but I'm pretty scared of them.2 -

Thanks! Oh, I would feel really bad about using something like that since it is all the owners fault and not the dog. But I have no idea how bad it is where you live, though I guess the fact that such a product exist says enough. I thankfully never encountered any dogs that were truly aggressive or tried to hurt me. Maybe you can try throwing a tennisball instead.2 -
Good morning Shape Shifters. Went for another morning walk without my camera yesterday. Forecast said it might rain, and while it was very grey, it stayed dry. I am happy the temperature has gone down a little. Walks a lot nicer. My mom and her partner are staying in a hotel this weekend not too far from me. So in the morning she suddenly told me they were coming over for a short visit. I had to scramble a little to clean some and get my breakfast in. We went to the visitors centre of the national park. They have a pretty big garden area with ponds and a cute shop so we walked around there. It was nice, but I was very tired after they went home.
It has now been 8 days since I have started eating well and I have been on 6 walks. There were 3 mornings in a row where my weight was exactly the same. I always hate when that happens and it shouldn't even be possible with my calorie intake/burn and activity it feels like. But since Monday I am down 2.2 pounds, so it is not too bad I guess. Two weeks ago my RHR was 76 and now it is 68 so I am very happy with that. I hope it will continue to go down some more. I will be rejoining the regular group again in September. Very excited about that! Happy Sunday everyone5 -

I posted in our chat thread and on my profile on MFP...sorry Frank. I tried to set up a challenge on Garmin but you can only set it for 3 miles and a 5k is 3.1 miles, so I couldn't set it! Hope you finish your walk/run today! Good luck!

Weather was nice for a bicycle ride today, I was surprised more people weren't out in the park, but maybe they thought it was going to rain. Hope everyone had a good Sunday!
