    Hi Team

Would it be possible to reactivate my profile for the November 2023 challenge?

It's been a very lazy year and have not prioritised my health.

I would love to get back running please.🥹

Absolutely! I need a weigh day and your starting weight. Welcome back!

I'm back after taking October off and was hoping to be put on the Nomber challenge. If there's still an opening for me.

    Thanks

Yes we do. I need your weigh day and your starting weight. Welcome back.

    Meh.........all I can say

Hang in there. I have been frustrated for months at a time. By sticking with it, I was able to prevent a total disaster and gain all the weight I lost back. I have just quit programs in the past and gain all plus more. We are here for you whether you lose or gain. Stick to your goals and you will see results.

Oct 31: 👣📝🥗🎮 Happy Halloween! 18K . Great time at bingo, didn't win, cute costumes. I had task in another challenge that I am in that you had to pick your favorite candy or treat, figure out how many calories it had and do a workout that burned more calories than the candy. Had to walk an hour for the calories in a Baby Ruth. Will make me think twice before I sneak into the candy bin today!

Glad you had fun. I am stealing your challenge.

    2. Cooking my HelloFresh 3x a week and maintaining leftovers
    3. Continuing journaling
    4. Stretching on the days I don't do workouts so I can help my soreness

    6. Getting out of the 270s!

Love your goals. Kickboxing is something I never have tried.

Let’s work off our favourite Halloween treat. Tell us what is yours and how you are going to burn it off. Here are some examples.

Best steps plus converted steps I had in awhile. I was at the pool forever yesterday. I swam and did exercises for almost 50 minutes. The rest of the time I was there I didn’t count as exercise as I was in the hot tub or chatting. The lady I was talking to was a dietitian and we had an interesting chat. She was telling me she gets her clients to say their goals out loud while looking in a mirror. I am going to try this for the rest of the month. I did make sure to be moving the entire time we chatted. I was planning on the pool today I am just too cold to walk over there. I will have to suck it up tomorrow as it’s only going to get colder the next few months. 🥶

Question; Does anyone else find they find the cold more since they lost weight?

My favourite Halloween treat will be a coffee crisp bar. Jersey milk is my favourite but I doubt I will see it. We are handing out candy at my daughters so my granddaughter always shares something with us. I will have to burn 160 calories if I eat two. That would be about 35 minutes walking. I think I should stick with one as we are having subs before they take my granddaughter trick or treating.

@lindamtuck2018, great question! I think the weather change here and some life stuff have me feeling stuck, but this week I scheduled my workouts in my calendar, so they're in there and part of my day. I also have my HelloFresh coming on Tuesday, so I'll have my meals for the week figured out :) Also looks like you had a great Monday, I hope Halloween treats you well, too!

@NachDeezy, congrats on making it to your goal early! That has to feel amazing!!

@Megan_smartiepants1970, those are great goals for November!!

    Thank you :)

I'll do it again - don't have to eat it - just work it off. My second favorite - M&M's a full size bag has 230 calories - now to figure out how long I need to exercise. 😁

Well I SWORE I posted my steps for 10/27 & 10/28 because I updated my spreadsheet on my computer and do it at the same time I come on here. I am SOO SORRY. I am bummed because they were decent days too. Am I ok to start again for this week or am I kicked out for the month?

Well, I said I would post on November 1 regarding my Halloween battle with those little gremlins innocently called "fun-sized" treats. I bought slightly less then I thought we would need, bought them late so they were not calling from my pantry for long, and went out for the evening so my husband handed them out (these things do not tempt him at all.) Happy to say, they were pretty much all gone when I got home and a couple more kids cleaned them up moments later. There was only one social event last week where I unexpectedly came face to face with a whole battalion of them but managed to evade.

So this is a Halloween NSV for sure - I don't think I have ever gone through the date without eating several at a time (and thank you, @lindamtuck2018, for the chart reminder of what each of those costs us!) However, I am really looking forward to the day when I can eat one of such things - savor one, be satisfied with one, not be triggered for more by one. I think this is possible - I used to drink my tea with much-too-much sugar; now I don't think to add any at all, and I do not miss it. If someone does bring me a sweetened drink, it does not cause me to revert in the slightest. So perhaps my relationship with other sweet things, particularly chocolate (I could have typed that last bit all in capital letters...), can be remodelled as well. In all honesty, I do feel a tiny bit treat-deprived today, but I know that I can choose this small bit of regret/disappointment/missing-out without the calories, or the MUCH bigger regret of having given in, along with the need to deal with all those calories. On balance, it is regret or REGRET plus calories. I will choose the former, thanks!

On the funnier side, the friend I spent the evening with spontaneously handed me two pomegranates as I left. Gotta admit - that was the first time in my trick-or-treating history I have ever come home with pomegranates on Halloween. Perhaps I will find a way to turn that into my treat today.

    @RoblinB salute to the NSV!

I can't believe they tried to pull a sneak attack at that social event - way to lock in and lock on. One day when the streets aren't so dangerous, we will toast with a funny size cho######.

...couldn't bring myself to type it.
