My favorite - can you guess? Walking. My favorite time is in the AM - that's when I take my outside long walk.

    Didn't see that comin 🤣💜

I really like to walk but for now my favourite is swimming. I usually like mid morning but I have been trying first thing when the pool opens.

It may be moving slow but woohoo it is moving!!!!

That’s almost a pound lost. Look at it this way, half a pound a week works out to 26 pounds a year. That is not to shabby in my books. Congratulations on the loss!

Hands down.. walking outside with my headphones on. It’s not only exercise but therapy for me. I just wished we lived somewhere that it was possible year round. That will never happen though as long as my grand babies are here 😜

It’s definitely a mood booster for me. When I have periods of depression, the doctor always ask me if I am exercising. I feel the same way as you about my granddaughters.. People always ask us if we are going to retire in Newfoundland. I will never move while they are growing up.

Yup, sometimes you stand on the scales and get to have a big sigh of relief. I am hoping for a miracle this week and I get to breathe a sigh of relieve.

Hi Team, I'm Darlene and have been with this group for a couple months. I have been on vacation since the beginning of the month, and finally had a free minute to catch up on MFP. I am married, one adult daughter, one pup - Monty. I started this weight loss journey last January and lost almost 70 pounds (probably closer to 65 when I finish vacation). I walk every day - rain or shine (rain inside or walking workout). My goal is 17K steps a day - but can range from 12K to 22K depending on the day.

This past week in Florida for a trip out of the cold. We drove from Connecticut (Monty is with us) and rented a home in Central Florida. Since Monty is with us, a lot of outside walks. Yesterday we finished the Lake Wailes trail. It was beautiful. We are also working on the Chain of Lakes Trail, which I would not recommend. It is basically a walk through the city.

Funny sign on the trail! Yikes!

I'm guessing these birds didn't read the sign!

Beautiful pictures! One of my facebook memories today was that I was flying to Florida 10 years ago. I wish I was going there today.

    Question

I'm not sure I have a favorite...I just do what needs to be done!!! I exercise first thing in the morning before I have a chance to think about doing anything else!
But if I really think about it...
I do enjoy walking outside > it's not the walk I enjoy but everything else. I usually have on an audio book and that's what keeps me going.
I also enjoy strength/training/weight lifting (particular legs and arms) as that is where I see the results the quickest :)

I was in the pool for a long while yesterday. Unfortunately, the pool was cold and the hot tub was broken. We stopped for a couple of minutes when walking back to speak to the building manager and I have had the chills ever since. I slept in this morning(bad nights sleep) but I decided when I got up to take it easy today. The pool is closed anyway.

I have been on the phone for part of the morning trying to sort out my mri and cat scan appointments. My MRI is not until the beginning of April. Providing my cat scan is done by then I am looking at June to get surgery. It will be a 60th birthday present.

    Have a great day all!

Motto: 🏋🏾‍♀️ Don't think, just do it!!

Recap: Hitting my protein target, increased my water...scale is going up....Whatever?!?!?!

    - THOUGHTS: It’s not a diet change, it’s a lifestyle change.

Important to me today as there is a little bit of frustration in seeing the scale go up...a couple of days in a row and then slowly coming back down....but I've lost these pounds before. Ok...vent over. Tomorrow's another day.
