Sunday ~ April 14
Good morning Shape Shifters. My day started a little earlier than usual. I got up at 6:30 and left home at 6:40 to get a short one hour walk in. I was a bit cold, but it was very nice outside. I had a shower when I got back and did my usual morning routine with Tinus. My dad was here at 8:30 because we were going to my niece's birthday party. It's around 1h40m drive one way which is a lot of sitting. That is why I went on a short walk beforehand. I drove the way there and my dad drove home. It was a little busy, but my niece liked all her presents and she had a good time. I brought lunch with me to have in the car on the way home and at the party I had a slice of applepie which was really tasty. I was home again around 13:30 and pretty tired. I did my gym rings workout later in the day, but besides that just relaxed with Tinus. I forgot to post my rainbow tracker yesterday so I will include it now. Happy Monday everyone4 -

~ I’m very pleased the scale went back down even after I hosted a poker party Saturday with allot of drinking involved..
***NOTE TO SELF: Logging before the days end helped me to reconsider my late night choices. Also to include, being in this group sealed that deal! 👍👍
~ Hubby update: Gastro doctor believes Jim either has gall stones or may need his gall bladder removed. We’ll know more after his ultra sound tomorrow. Funny thing is he had intense pain in that area once last year and again the year before. At the time, he was convinced it was a hernia but doctors looked and said no and he went home. His gastro doctor explained that in their defense, they wouldn’t know it was a gall bladder issue unless they were looking directly for it. Sigh.. gastro issues are so damn complicated I swear.5 - Track / Under / 20min Exercise?

@jessicakrall8 - So sorry I missed my weigh-in it's been a hectic week.
Haven't seen any positive change in the weight most recently, but again, it's been a hectic week and I have not kept-up my plan.

Monday ~ April 15
Good morning Shape Shifters. It was a very windy day here. I went for a walk in the morning when it was still okay outside, but I was dressed too cold. My sweater was too thin so my arms were freezing. I left my camera home which I didn't regret. A few birds here and there, but I doubt I would have gotten good pictures anyway. We had a bit of a storm in the afternoon so not much outside time for Tinus. Instead he wanted a lot of laptime, I played some games and drank a lot of tea. My shoes also came back from being repaired so that is nice. They added a stitch along the entire sole of both shoes which looks really good so I expect them to last a while now. Happy Tuesday everyone6 -
The daily card:Recognizing how the natural world and the human-made world are intertwined can bring great joy and appreciation. When we take the time to see nature in the environment around us, it opens us up to a sense of wonder. Take some time to explore your surroundings and look for nature in unexpected places-a tree, a bird, a flower, a gorgeous sunset, a drop of rain. Once you train your mind to see small moments of beauty, you can cultivate moments of joy in everyyday life.3

My son asked me if I wanted to go to the beach and walk this morning, doing the step challenge this week so trying to get in some extra stepping! The tide was very far out so I was able to go into the shipwreck and take some photos. I wanted to find some pretty stones or shells but not much on the beach today.
The Wreck of the Peter Iredale:
There are pieces of where the mast was and other metal bits in the sand, but this is mostly what is left from 1906. I didn't know there was any wood left, this was the first chance I've had to be inside of it! (This is on the northern Oregon coast line)The Beach

Hi All, yesterday made a re-commitment to myself and involved my girls to keep me accountable.
~ I think it's a mindset/block, but I've been struggling to show up for myself (consistently) I have short bursts of momentum and then it start to wane.
Anyhow, girls and I did a Zumba video last night to start with something fun.
Tonight - we will try a different full body workout video.7 -

Tuesday ~ April 16
Good morning Shape Shifters. Not a great day here. It was raining a lot in the morning and I had a doctors appointment at 9:00 so no walk. After the doctor I picked up a package with new (and hopefully better) bugspray and two shampoo bars. I also went to the vet to pick up a medication for Tinus. When I got home, my internet wasn't working. I tried resetting the modem, checked all the cables several times, but nothing. Eventually the whole modem just died and wouldn't turn on anymore. Since I don't have internet on my phone, I had to bike into town to find a restaurant with guest wifi so I could look up the phone number of my internet provider. A little annoying, but it worked. The guy said I would get a new modem within two days. Having no internet is such a bloody pain. I am on my computer a lot during the day. For music, reading, gaming, keeping up with this group, tracking my food. I ended up just working on my puzzle a lot and I finished it in the evening and I got in my gym rings workout. Thankfully I prelog my food the day before most of the time, so I somewhat remembered what I planned to eat. I have also been doing this long enough that I know the calories of most things which was helpful. I was pretty grumpy about the whole no internet, but my puzzle was fun and two days isn't the end of the world. Happy Wednesday everyone
{As you can guess by me posting this, I got my new modem today around 14:00 so I am very happy about that!}5 -
