Good morning,
I will have to drop out of the group for a while. I've been dealing with foot and leg issues. I should be okay after my surgery in May and able to join back in mid-June if you'll have me.5 -

Thank you. My surgery is on May 16th and I'll be able to slowly become more active after 2-3 weeks.

Hi everyone! My name is Jamie and I am new to the group and looking forward to getting to know everyone.
I have been with my partner Dave for 20 years. We have a son Andrew, who is graduating this June 😭 We have been looking at colleges and it's making me sad but excited for him. We also have a 15 year old dog name Ella, who can only do short walks now, so I rely on my treadmill most days. We also have 7 chickens. If I could get more land I'd have more animals! 🤣
I will be turning 50 in June and am actually ok with it. I'm happy and life is good. I really need to lose more weight to help with some hormone issues and just for my overall health. And I lack motivation. I'll do great for a month, then slack off. It's awful!
I am really a homebody and enjoy gardening, which I've been prepping the beds and have a bunch of veggie seeds started, I've been doing a lot of baking with sourdough, which probably isnt best for dieting, lol, I make my own yogurt too.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day 💕6 -

I only ended up with 2000 calories over maintenance but it was all carbs! And this morning .... drum roll please .. i have put on 11lb!!! Yes I've gone from 182lb on Friday morning to 193lb today!
I feel like a bloated whale!!!
I know its carbs ... my body has a huge reaction to them!! On a positive note i m looking forward to losing 2lb a day this week !!!!
Happy Birthday!! Well it sound's like you had a fabulous time! Doesn't it really stink that it goes back on so quickly, yet seems to take so long to get it back off!! And carbs....love love them1 -

That is a hard one. I enjoy so many of them. I think probably my favorite would be the penguins out of them all.2 -

Wow, I've lost 45lb since March 2023. The problem is, it's the same 45lb!
I've gone up by an average of 14lb .... 4 times in the past year😏😏
In a way I'm proud of myself, old Lis would have put on 14lb and kept going until i was 90lb heavier, (I've lost 80lb at least 4 times in my life)
BUT I'm sick of being on a constant calorie restriction ! The 14lb gains take me an average of 2 weeks ... always when I've left the rv!! So either i have to live in the rv forever 🤣🤣 or address the issues. I'm in the rv now for 4 weeks (losing my latest 14lb gain) and giving serious thought to the habits that lead to my gains ...... and coming up with a plan to stop each one!
Sometimes it's good to take a step back, do some analysis, identify the problems, find the solutions and implement them!
Wishing you all success xx6 -

I took last week off (not from work) just extra curriculars and dieting. I needed some time to myself and a refresh. I was feeling really tired and worn out. Happily, I am now looking forward to this week! I feel rested and ready to go and get back to the craziness.
