~ welp .. hubby wanted to cheat on Sunday and we had Chinese. I tried to choose wisely but was still hungry and had an egg roll and a fried dumpling and more chow mein, but man it was so good!!

    The daily card:
Have you noticed how wonderful you feel when a stranger smiles at you? That small act might have caused you to smile back or even pass it on to the next person you saw. If you smile or show gratitude to people you meet, you will see the positive effect it has on them and you will feel the benefit in return. Make the effort to smile at people you encounter today. Notice how they react and how it makes you feel.

Hello Shape Shifters. Yesterday it wasn't very fun outside. It was raining non stop and I wasn't able to go for a walk. Even Tinus only got to go outside twice; once early in the morning when it wasn't that bad yet and he wanted once in the afternoon when it was pouring. I guess he was sick of being lazy inside so he got wet instead. I decided to make it a bit of a cleaning day and I washed my bedsheet. I did a bunch of stepping to music for 50+ minutes so I got my zone minutes at least. Also got my gym rings workout done early. Happy Tuesday everyone <3
The birds were absolutely soaked and looked miserable.

    Good Morning Shape Shifters!

I saw this quote the other day. What is a change you made that you'd recommend or what is a small change you are working on?

I'll start - I'm working on getting out of bed at 5 am and making my bed.

I'm unsure I'm going to stick with MFP, they finally tore down my newsfeed.

I have to admit, I am not sure if I would stay either. The newsfeed is what made me feel more accountable for what I was logging. Homepage on the web looks terrible now.

Only thing MFP has in its favour now is its integrations with other apps like garmin. Losit these integrations are a paid feature.

I didn't track all weekend, because I was away from home on a big bike ride for MS. We rode 150 over the course of 2 days. I had a super bad crash at mile 34,,,, i was able to finish the ride only because I'm stubborn.

@babytis You're a stronger woman than I am. I would've ended it at the crash. Go you!!

Just a heads up, I will likely be MIA for a bit. My mom passed away unexpectedly yesterday, and I'm really struggling. She was my person, so it's going to take a minute to get my head straight again

@angmarie28 I am SO VERY SORRY for your loss...and the fact that it was unexpected has to be even harder. Your family is in my prayers as you start to grieve...it's a long, long road. I lost mine back in 2011. May your family hold you close and her memories make you smile. **big hugs**

@itadakimasu7 Check out the option they offered where you can chat or report activities in your profile...there was an article posted about it, where they announced the departure of the newsfeed.

I understand, but we certainly hate to see you go, dear!
