Was on vacation last week. Glad there wasn't a loss. 15k race is on Sunday. Got in a 9.5 mile training run on vacation, so a little over the 9.3 miles on Sunday. At least I know I'll survive. Trying to get back to healthy eating after a brutal June.3 -

This was expected as wife and I took a 7 day cruise to beautiful Alaska! Calories don't count on vacation, right. For the next 2 weeks wife and I will be on Soup, Salad, low Carb meals and back to the gym. Everyone needs to enjoy life a little and Alaska was on our bucket list.2 -

Is one of them mine? I was moved to support role until October, so I wasn’t sure if I could be part of the step team anymore.

Don’t remember if I posted these or not 😬 but in case I didn’t 😂1 -

Yes. You can still be part of the walk challenge IF you want to. No pressure.0 -

Woo-wee I’m actually impressed I’ve only managed to put on 5lbs since being away from my routine and on vacation the last 3 weeks. I contemplated excusing myself from this weeks weigh in since I’ll be back in my routine next week, but I’ll get to celebrate onederland when I get back there 😂2 -
@andja87 - I am assuming that some of those 5lbs are also just water. 5lbs is approximately 17500 calories, and while it is entirely possible to consume that many extra calories over the course of three weeks... at least one of those pounds is water, right?1

Hey folks - I am missing quite a few weigh-ins this week. Let me know if you need to be excused!

I'm annoyed with myself, I had some online lessons today but had time to go out for a walk. Instead, I did stuff on the computer and decided to go out after work. As soon as the last lesson started, the thunder started and it has poured with rain since - I don't mind getting wet if I'm out but I don't like going out in it if I don't have to. Oh well, a lazy day out is!
Now, I'm watching Thank You, Goodnight - The Bon Jovi Story 🤩1 -

Small loss this week, but we’ve celebrated our wedding anniversary, so a few meals out and some drinks. I’m happy with the small loss as it’s not something I do every week. Back to healthy eating now 😊3 -

Well, alright then! I've been trying so hard to break away from the 230's, with going back and forth, back and forth, and now I'm almost out of the 220's!! I'm not 100% sure, but I might have started my period today too, so seeing that loss was really a great feeling! 🤗😊

I had a lot of non-scale victories this past week on vacation. I celebrated each and everyone one of them and I feel great getting back into my regular routine. Knowing I had all of y’all to come back to and keep pushing forward kept me from overeating too much, but I still enjoyed desserts and great dinners with the family.
I out walked, out lasted everyone in our group up and down mountains and through cities as we explored Alaska. I couldn’t have done this a few months ago and was so proud of myself. I pushed myself to walk up and down the stairs on the ship, one morning making it up 8 flights of stairs. I was winded, my legs were screaming at me, but I made it and I was proud of myself. I didn’t mind taking pictures and I felt good about how I looked.
This is only my second month with the group, but this app and all of you remind me daily that I’m not alone in this journey. So thank you! Now let’s take top spot this week for weight lost!! 🎉🤩👊3 -

@Jensmakingprogress - That's wonderful to hear! Over the years, non-scale victories feel so much more important than actually changing that number on the scale, I love hitting a new one, especially when my weight hasn't moved in a while.Jensmakingprogress wrote: »This is only my second month with the group, but this app and all of you remind me daily that I’m not alone in this journey. We had a big maintaining week last week, with quite a few folks on vacation - I think we can pull this off! Let's get back to basics, make good decisions whenever we can, and show the rest of MFP what we're made of!
