I haven't actually posted my weight in here in a while, which feels like cheating, so I am trying to do better about holding myself accountable and being a good example for the membership, both new and old.
But here's what's up with me...
Weight Updates- I have been bloated quite a bit lately, potentially due to nerves and stress, which led to me holding onto a lot of water
- My weight for today is likely lower than actuality - I woke up quite dehydrated
- Based on the more prominent appearance of my shoulders, I believe I have been in a state of recomposition, replacing fat with muscle - I can't say I'm disappointed
Food- This is my weak spot - I love dessert and salty snacks and "treating myself"
- I decided to try out a new go-to pasta sauce, which led to consuming much more pasta than normal - I'm not upset about it, but I could definitely feel what the greater-than-normal carbohydrate intake was doing to my body
- Tomorrow is game night, I will be ordering pizza, and no, I will not stop myself from eating until I am 100% full of pizza
- Next weekend, my boyfriend and I are taking a little trip to my hometown, I anticipate there will be a lot of food consumed when catching up with friends and family (Wisconsin does have a thing for cheese and sausage and beer and custard and...)
Personal Training- 2 weeks ago, I auditioned to be a group fitness instructor with a local SPENGA (SPin, strENgth, yoGA)
- Earlier this week, I discovered that I PASSED the audition, with flying colors!
- My first classes are on Tuesday evening next week - I am nervous but it's going to be fun! My playlist is already put together, the 20 minute spin section is going to be a killer.

On a side note…I did weigh myself when we got back from vacation and I was at 212, so technically I’ve lost 4 pounds this week. I’m glad to be below my pre-vacation weight.3 -

The gods of technology demanded a sacrifice three times today. Not pleased. Not pleased at all...but it is done!!!
Week 2 July and we're over a million steps! We are lower than the previous week with but last week ended up (laye posts and all) higher than the previous, contrary to our original posting (last weeks adjusted totals were more than 4% higher than the last week of June. Still walking, though!
Most consistent was hotly contested this week, with the runner up being .13% less consistent...
For anyone confused about where we are at for weeks posting, this is, as indicated above July 7-13. The week of July 14-20 steps should be posted by Wed, July 24.
Our bolded members set a step goal for the week and met it! Which is to say, all of us (participating this week) with step goals!! As always, if you want to... be bold (heehee), let us know how many steps you want to hit every day on average and we'll keep track of it for you!
I hope everyone is weathering the summer (originally typed simmer, which is accurate around here!) well! I, for one, plan to increase my steps this week.

*BIG SIGH* So last week when I had that loss, and said I was surprised because I was on my period. Well, I actually wasn't on it, because NOW I am, lol. I was so close to getting out of the 20's! I really don't want to get back into the 30's! I will scream if I do! Hoping next week, I will go back down, in the right direction!
