Yay! I started last week on August 5th and did 4 days protein/fat only because it kick-starts ketosis and I get over the cravings part faster. All of that weight loss is water weight. Still stoked though, now the real work begins. Wishing everyone a great rest of August!2

Hi All! Thanks for all the well wishes! We got our power back on Saturday night finally! Almost 100 hours without power! I’m not cutout for that kind of living 😂 past few days have been busy just getting caught up with food shopping, preparing, cleaning and working on all the laundry that backed up from not being able to do them.

I usually go walking every day on my vacation. I did not go once. We did tons of boating and swimming. I do not want to get on the scale tomorrow as I know it’s going to be horrible. Since I have come home I have been eating fish, chicken and salad. Hoping it helps a little.1

Still playing with the one pound. I'm days away from the first day of school. I'm tutoring again this year. I'm a little nervous since my MIL's dementia is rapidly declining with her over active bladder issue. I feel like I'm in the movie "Ground Hog's Day". The day starts over every time she goes into the restroom which is about 5-10 minutes. She's wearing me out big time.
Anyway I'm still trying to focus on making sure that I take care of me, my husband, my five children, their schooling, and finally her. We finally got her estate documents in order. So, now we prep the way for her to be in a good facility that can handle memory care.3 -

I way overate sweets and chocolate while I was away last weekend Friday-Sunday. I’ve lost some of that, but still binged on chocolate twice this week.
It’s dumb, because I don’t even eat “good” chocolate, just dumb stuff like Reeces peanut butter cups and various Hershey brand name chocolates.
Also ate way too much processed food because had my granddaughters over to babysit. I even bought them some snacks before they came and then proceeded to eat them before the girls even got here.
I need to get back to healthy foods and stay within my calorie budget.
This morning’s breakfast:
2 thin slices Dave’s Killer Bread, toasted
1/2 an avocado spread onto the toast
1 semi-hard boiled egg sliced and placed over top of the avocado
A sprinkle of black pepper2 -

Forgot to report my weight yesterday on my Weigh in day. Was out of town for a wedding and just got busy and forgot to post.
Weigh In Day: Friday
PW (Previous Weight): don’t remember my last reported weight since I didn’t weigh in last week.
CW (Current Weight): 203.2
My weight is probably up. I’m sorry team. It’s been a wild beginning of August and I’ve struggled righting the ship the last week. It’s 100% my nutrition. I’ve lost my steam in making sure my day overall keeps me in a deficit.
My mornings and afternoons especially during the week at work are great. It’s when I get home that I eat what my heart desires and don’t record it.
Going to try to get back to making sure I’m eating more nutrient dense keep me feeling fuller longer type foods, so I’m not ravenous and eating everything within arms reach.2 -
