    Short Term GW: 99kg
    Long Term GW: 89kg

    Weigh In Info
    LW: 106kg
    TW: 107kg
    Variance to last week: +1kg

Found this a bit disheartening as this is the heaviest I've ever been (when not pregnant). And honestly quite close to where I was when I was full term pregnant. Am going to make some changes this week and see if I can move the dial.

Weigh In Date Monday, August 19, 2024

    GoalWeight: 174 lbs

    LastWeek: 201.3 lbs
    ThisWeek: 196.7 lbs

Variance: - 4.6 pounds!!! Sometimes you just have to get ANGRY!!

Between my 'vacation' eating-fest/feast and then the celbration of turning 65....... wow almost like self destruct mode.

Pulled out my Health Reference notes from the last 14 years and saw the quote hanging on my wall since 2010.

"I don't mind dying, I just don't want it to be my fault." Dr. Kim Williams, President of the American College of Cardiology, and cardiologist at Rush University in Chicago, Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle.

OK trashing up the Discussion group. Had a little coffee.

Thought I would share THREE things today. 1) My favorite Health Quotes. 2) my favorite medical/health books/references, and 3) my favorite health/medical documentaries. In full disclosure I have read, or watched, and in some cases studied all of this stuff. And my wife calls me an "Askhole" because I keep asking the same question and get the same answers and guidance and knowledge ......... but I don't DO it???? And I Ask a different way and get the same answers.

I was going (and still may) to write a guide or book about all of this and the premise is diet, discipline & disaster.

My visual is the 10 main stained glass windows in my church and how they might represent the "BEST" lifestyles and diets as each of those groups claims??? Mediterranean, Keto, Paleo, Carnivore, Vegan, WFPB, Atkins, Nutritarian, Whole30, CarbCycling. The real premise is that they ALL give short term results and everybody thinks they are great - but MOST are unsustainable and many fail the KEY hard data point : longevity and quality of life? The REAL difference though is the fact that they are ALL THE SAME in what you DON'T EAT!!!!!! and in terms of HOW MUCH of what you eat. Micro and Macro Nutrition.

Stopping for both of our benefits? anybody actually reading all this??

    GW: 132 lbs
    LW: 146.8lbs
    TW: 148.7lbs
    Gain: 1.9lbs
    Lbs to Target: 16.7 lbs

A gain for me. Exercise was great last week with most days having yoga then 40 min turbo trainer bike in the morning and 4 miles running in the evening. My food intake was good too with only one bad day on Saturday. I'm not too disappointed but definitely will be if next week doesn't bring a loss.

    @thomasjohnlynch - You sound a little annoyed ;)
