I have worked very hard for this weight loss this week, its been all consuming - I have cut calories and exercised almost every day. It's hard to process that this may be what it takes for me to reach my goal weight as its actually quite hard work... But sticking with it for the moment and my mantra is "showing up for myself".

Weigh In Date Monday, August 26, 2024

    GoalWeight: 174 lbs

    LastWeek: 196.7 lbs
    ThisWeek: 199.8 lbs

Variance: 3.1 lb GAIN. (frown) Seems my water weight swing and crazy eating is getting the better of me. A real roller coaster. I would like to think my scale is broken but sadly its spot on.

Just got my face and head cancer chemo blasted yesterday - hopefully the last time for a year or more. 1,000 seconds of pretty painful hell. (I have had cartilage on my ear and a scar on my back and head from squamous cell skin cancer MOH surgery) so no outdoors/UV for 44 hours. Labor Day weekend coming up the unofficial/official end of Summer in the US. most all kids back in school and in the Northeast the ending of the sailing and boating season.....

Spent my whole childhood and then teenager years outside - lifeguarding, golfing, sailing, lawn cutting, etc with a crew cut and not only no sun protection but I actually smeared on Hawaiian Tropic tanning OIL for goodness sake and REALLY COOKED my Irish cream cheese colored skin!!! https://www.l-y-n-c-h.com/1960s/content/James_Glackin_w_Thomas_Lynch_at_Stone_Harbor_1962_large.html

    Lynch, I'm next.

Derm scrapped something off the top of my head. It was cancerous. I have a MOH surgery in a couple of weeks. What is it? What happens?
