    3) This week, I hope to enjoy quiet evenings to catch up on my reading!

    1) This is going to be interesting week. I have a desk job so I'm going to need to do my walking around the building when I can and maybe in the evening after dinner.
    2) Sweets are always in house and at work. I always have my go to Shameless snack and protein shakes.
    3) My evenings are spent playing with my dogs and watching tv. I have tons of books that I should be reading before bed.

    Looking forward to seeing how this week plays out.

    1. This week, I will do more... start strength-training, and not do more cardio just because it's easier and I can "zone-out" totally while doing it!
    2. This week, I will strive to have less critical moments about my current body image compared to what other men have gained over a lifetime of working-out.
    3. This week, I hope to enjoy quiet time listening to my favorite 40s and 50s music, put up all my Autumn decorations, and (perhaps) bake something pumpkin-spice (and lower-fat)!

    I have a friend who bakes a lot...so #2 is NOT going to be easy, but perhaps I can just control the portions...

    @frankwbrown Have you discovered Breyers Carbsmart at only 100 calories per serving and so smooth!! I can't believe it's low calorie!! I want to find the Butter Pecan one, but my Kroger doesn't carry it, so I only get the Vanilla...I don't eat chocolate, but there are several of those...check it out!

    This week I will do more running:
    I'm finally getting back to the gym to run on the treadmill. Today was the second day after a long hiatus, but I managed to run 1 mile, and walk for 20 minutes. Not where I used to be, but it's good to be moving my body again.

    This week I will eat less to stay within my calorie goal:
    I tracked my food and was under my goal (by 20 whole calories).

    This week I will have more quiet time to myself:
    This was an easy one today. My boys spent the weekend with my mom, and my husband had plans, so I had time to just BE for a while. This will be more challenging for the rest of the week.

    1) I did my walking today. 8433 steps in today. I haven't walked that far in a long time. My knee is hurting me bad but it was worth it. I went to Harrisburg Labor Day event. Had a lot of fun.
    2) No sweets today. I had strawberries instead.
    3) I didn't get in any reading tonight. It's too late to read.

    I did go for my first day! :smiley:

    I got a good start today on my September exercises. I rode my bike 10+ miles, then walked 2.4 miles, then swam 450 yards. I also did a little yoga, strength and cardio, but not that much. No gym classes for a few days so I'm focusing on riding, walking and swimming for now.

    Thanks for the suggestion, @jessicakrall8. I love ice cream, but it's gotta be the good stuff: Haagen Dazs, Ben & Jerry's, Talenti. I prefer quality over quantity - I just need to be more disciplined about the quantity. 🤔😂 Today, I had just three teaspoons of Haagen Dazs Chocolate. 😊

    Sunday
    I slept 9 hours, but not great quality. Never the less, feel like I am a bit more restored.
    I cut caffeine by 25% on Sunday.
    Walked yesterday on 2 nature paths.
