    I'm pretty sure Sunday's numbers should be higher, not sure I had my hearing aids in before I left for the chili cook off. I did a lot of running around in the morning cooking, not one, but two batches of chili. We will see what today's numbers look like later.

    Also, before I forget, we are at the halfway point for the month. How are we feeling about October? Any anxiety around Halloween? What's the one candy too dangerous for you to keep around?

    There are a lot of candies I don't like (Almond Joy, anything coconut or banana flavor) but I have a weakness for gummy candy, non-standard jelly beans (Starburst are amazing) and tamarind candy. Tamarind candy is not especially common around here but someone brought a bunch of different types (!!! Finding one type is exciting, she brought...idk...4? 5? OMG!) to work this week and I'm trying to pace myself.

    And chocolate.

    Is anyone else having an off day? I have low energy. I will do my exercises in an hour. My steps are very low.
    Tomorrow I will be giving a blood donation so my exercises will have to be early morning.

    The foot is the issue @melaniedscott - I’m in a boot for the next four weeks. Then I see the specialist again for next steps. Every time I take a step I have to wear it. I can’t train for the 8K I signed up for that’s happening in mid November. I’m frustrated because that was my main form of exercise and what I love to do. Thanks for asking
