While I am typing this, I just realized TODAY is my Dad's birthday!! He would have been 100 YEARS old.
https://www.l-y-n-c-h.com/1970s/content/197x_Dad_large.html Realizing I am sorta sporting the same bit of a gut of visceral & subcutaneous fat at this point and it seems. I have a 188 CAC score and clearly atherosclerosis and other maladies. He died at 71 years old. Heart attack. His brother had one at 50 and dies at 64. My GGF/his dad had one at 75. Obesity, bad diet/SAD, alcohol, high sugar - pretty obvious.
Been reading and studying up on Nutritarian Lifestyle by Dr. Fuhrman for multiple books and many videos and I have posted a LOT of stuff about my library here a few weeks ago, but as I have said I am an addict (used to be alcohol and other stuff) but now its obviously food!!!
I am an admitted AskHole who reads all this stuff and asks the same questions over and over and gets the answer but does not DO IT or make changes?? I am a processed carb-a-holic!!!
The body is capable and if you run the biomechanical data can last 100 to 120 years. My goal when I changed a LOT of stuff when I turned 50 was to live happily and moving well to 100.
So no grandiose promises today. Just the thought that I need some DISCIPLINE and CHANGE.
Resetting my sights on a target down field!!! Year 2060 here I come!!!0 -
