    Alright folks, we are hitting that time of year. If you are expecting to need to be excused for any weigh-ins during the next couple weeks, please please please do us a huge favor and let us know! I know for a fact that I will be away from my scale next week and most of the following, so I will be excusing myself through the end of the year.

    You can request to be excused for a bunch of reasons, including:
    • You will be away from a scale/something is wrong with your scale
    • You are enjoying the holidays and don't want numbers to stop you from having a festive time
    • Your brain needs a break for a week
    • You weighed yourself and the number on the scale is way off due to water retention and you don't want that number to impact your stats
    • The alignment of some star system is doing some magic mumbo jumbo and you want to use it as an excuse to not weigh in for a week
    • Many More!

    @minstrelofsarcasm actually that is a really good point, could I please be excused until January? I am still there this Friday but probably panic packing before going to see my family so I might forget to post, and I will be away from a scale the week after (and probably not want to know the numbers either)

    Still waiting for updates from:

    @MoStacy
    @Laurabb99
    @ksludwig

    I'm going to be extra annoying today and tomorrow, as I am leaving for my holiday adventures on Saturday. Be sure to let me know if/when you need to be excused.

    Speaking of the holidays, is anyone doing anything fun? I'll be doing a lot of driving - my boyfriend and I are visiting his family in New York, and then visiting mine in Wisconsin. Thank goodness I live halfway between the two in Ohio.

    OMG! Melanie managed to post on Thursday TWICE IN A ROW! I don't know what this means. Christmas miracle? It helps that everyone has been posting timely! Thanks so much!

    Way to walk Weight No More!

    Let's hear it for @miscanon3617, top of the leaderboard this week AND walking away with all the awards!

    If you want to join the step challenge for December:
    Just post your steps by the end of Wendnesday after the week ends. I'm flexible and might wait a day or two for you. If we're 'friends', I may drop a personal note to you to check in. If we aren't, and you'd like a personal note, send me (melaniedscott) a friend request.

    Part of the challenge or new and want to add or update a goal?
    If you want to... be bold (heehee), let us know how many steps you want to hit every day on average and we'll keep track of it for you!

    For anyone confused about where we are ...
    This is post is for Dec 8-14. For those interested in joining the December step challenge (you can join any time!), the week of December 15 (12/15-12/21) steps should be posted by Wed, December 25th.

    Awesome walking steps team!

    CW: 127.6 lb

    Steps, Dec. 15-21
    Dec. 15 - 42,397

    Dec. 21 - 32,731

    Exercise motivational tip of the week!
    Consistency is not hitting each workout 100% everyday. Sometimes it's 80%, or 3%, and the next day it's 65% before coming back up to 100%. Modification over quitting! Do what you can.

    I'm on holiday in Italy and can't weigh myself, so the above weight is my last for the year. I didn't reach 75kg but I still lost some.

    I came here to check posts and found mushrooms on my post for Cassie. I had no idea they were still there. I type one finger fast and when I posted the celebratory post for her I somehow accidentally clicked on those mushroom emojis. Thought I got rid of them in my edit, but they’re still there…. I guess MFP must have liked them and kept that version. I now see there are actually two posts, the one without the mushrooms as intended and the one with.
