I am glad you know how to stay warm, Judith. I hope you always have back up plans in case the power goes out, too.
Heat wave warnings are current here. We're going to run the air conditioning and fans today. If then power goes out, we'll take cool showers and have damp cloths for our necks. We also have hand fans and if needed can get in the caravan with its solar powered fans.

Warming up - YEA! High of 49F (9.4C) and low of 23F (-5C) with humidity at 34% and gentle breeze. I have a spider web outside of my window that moves with the wind. In case you want to know how I know what kind of wind we are having, I am watching the web as it moves in the wind. Nature is much more accurate than the weather reporters on the TV. 😀1

Wow our weather sure changed, we are under a Severe Rainfall Warning, we had heavy Rainfall, pouring rain, Winds and no Snow at this time.
Everything is soggy with rain, only problem if the temps dip too low we will have freezing rain and the roads and walkways will be covered in sheets of ice. Hopefully we don’t get that severe weather.0 -

Our Weather has changed drastically as we are on High Alert, Weather Warning as we have High Winds, Heavy Rain right now which is turning into a major Snow Storm all weekend into next week.

Where: Vancouver Island & Southern Gulf Islands, Sunshine Coast, Howe Sound, Whistler, Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley.
When: Now into next week.
Remarks: A wintry mix of weather conditions is expected to impact the South Coast of BC over the next several days.
Tonight: A cold front will move across the region late this afternoon and early this evening. Some areas such as East Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast will see a quick burst of heavy snow with the passage of the cold front. Be advised for sudden changes in road conditions and visibility. Temperatures will fall to near or below zero tonight resulting in slippery conditions as the wet ground from recent rain or snow freezes.
Weekend: Heavy flurries and cold temperatures this weekend as arctic air invades the region and an upper low brings the moisture. Be advised for sudden reduction in visibility in convective flurries if travelling around the south coast this weekend. Accumulations are uncertain at this time as it will depend where the flurries develop but accumulating snow is likely in many areas this
weekend. Warnings will be issued as necessary.
