Susan. Praying for cooler temps though summer is probably only half gone.
Praying for you & Colin too. God knows & He can make an earlier appointment, of course it in His time.
I’m sure it will be fun. Not all the family there as Mariposa & Annabella are not coming or son in Branson.

Judith. Praying for you too & all you are going through.

Linda. It can be so frustrating when all, our work just disappears. I then try & use the computer but iPad & iPhone are so much easier. I can multi task & watch the news too.

Tonight I made salmon on the air fryer. Oh my so 😋. It was so good! Plus so easy. The salmon was flaky & only took 10 minutes in the air fryer. Yumm

    Praying. Stay well all. 🙏🏻

I wonder if MFP will cooperate today?? It was another cold day today but tomorrow we are supposed to get up to 42F (5.5C). I am looking forward to that warmth. I started wearing Glenn's heavy coat he does not wear to stay warm outside. It was about two sizes too big but I didn't care what I looked like and I felt very cozy. Snow is expected in the Denver area tomorrow but we should be fine. I also heard on the news that California is expecting rain after all the fires. It would help with the fires but the fire damaged properties might have mud slides with the rain. This could cause more damage than just the fire. We had mudslides a few years ago after a fire in the canyon on the way we take to Denver. It closed down the train railroad tracks also that was along the river in the canyon. The mud caused more damage than the fire did.

Today I had lunch with a friend while Glenn was busy with some guys. It was nice to catch up with her.

Susan - Thanks for clarifying what kind of healthcare you have. It is hard to get into a specialist for us too. The cost is quite a bit higher than our general practitioner also. I pray that there will be some way that an opening will occur to get Colin in earlier. I am glad that your weather is cooler today to give you a little respite. As Barb has said - we would be glad to send some of our cold weather to you if that were possible.

Barb - I hope you have safe travels as you go to Andover. Happy Birthday to your granddaughter! 🎈🎂

Judith - I hope that you are getting needed rest after all your treatments/appointments this week. Prayers continue for you.

Oh Judith, that does sound painful and like an ordeal. I wish they could figure out how to treat you more gently. Thank you for checking in with us and especially for praying for everyone. You have our prayers too.

Linda, I love that you found Glenn's coat to be so nice and warm! I wouldn't worry about how it looks either, only that I was warm and comfortable! We called Colin's sister yesterday. She is an RN. She suggested we find a private Cardiologist who does public hospital surgery. Colin slowly went around to some neighbours who have had cardiac issues to ask for recommendations! We see his GP on Tuesday and will ask if this is possible. It will cost us. But it might lead to getting things done earlier, and also answer the many questions we have. I'll let you know how things go.

Barb, today will be the birthday party day for you. I hope you really have a great time. I lived seeing Inara and my older grandchildren the other night. They give the best hugs and Inara sat on me a lot! I hope you are warm, too.

We have Church this morning and I will take my new Thompson's Chain Reference Bible that Colin bought me as a late Christmas gift. ❤️ Then I may wash and clip Jasper. I washed and clipped Archie yesterday and he looks so cute. I do have a few finishing touches to get done on him.

    Anything to stay warm

Common the car so this short.

    Happy Lords day all. ✝️🙏

We spent quite a bit of time traveling to a funeral today. The drive took 90 minutes one way. We took some friends with us so we had some interesting conversation on the way and back. She is very politically aware of things and was able to explain some things in the government to us. I am not sure I agree with some things she thinks is going on but it was interesting to see her opinion. The main roads were nice and dry but as we got up in the mountains to the little town we went to, the roads were slushy and snow packed. I do appreciate Glenn driving and that we have 4 wheel drive in the truck. The woman who died was 93 and was the last living of 13 siblings. Her grandson, who did the service. was our music leader when he was here in Grand Junction in college. His mother is part of our Bible study group we have on Tuesday evening.

Susan - I am glad you are finding resources to get Colin to a cardiologist sooner even though it may cost more money. His health and well being are much more important than money at this time. Happy Australia Day to you! Did you have a celebration in your community? Does Australia have a national song?

Barb - by my clock you should have gotten home about an hour ago. I hope you are not too tired traveling. Do you have pictures of the birthday girl?

Judith - thanks for stopping by in spite of having some difficult days. It really sounds painful. Are they able to numb the area? My M-I-L had lidocaine gel put on her leg ulcers before debridement. She said that did help with the pain. I don't know if they are doing the same type of procedure on your skin or
not. I'm sorry they were not able to do the biopsy.

Thank you Susan, appreciate your kindness and prayers. I am sure Archie and Jasper will be sweet looking Boys when you finish grooming them. They are so cute. Happy Australia 🇦🇺 Day! Love the picture you shared. I am so glad you are finding a way to get Colin to the Cardiologist sooner. Praying the Lord open the doors and make a way with also suppling your financial needs. Happy and Blessed Lords Day. Such a nice gift from Colin with a Thompson Chain Reference Bible. You will enjoy taking your Bible to Church today!

Barb, hope you enjoyed your time in Andover, Happy Birthday 🥳 to your Granddaughter! Hope you had a great celebration with the family. Was there anything special the family did to celebrate your granddaughter’s special day? Thank you for all your kindness and many prayers you have said on my behalf. Have a blessed Lord’s Day Barb! Enjoy your Sunday Services.

Linda, thank you for your kindness and all your prayers you have said on my behalf. To answer your question, no numbing of the area, mine is a little different as the Skin and Tissue is all Cancerous disease that is forming in spite of the many treatments I’ve had. On Wednesday the Specialist said the suture line and upper lip was quite inflamed and the bottom lip and lower face had excessive diseased skin so I was told a Biopsy was needed which they are hoping will tell them what type it is and what treatment is best. I am still waiting on the Ultrasound that was ordered 2 weeks ago.

I will keep you all updated as soon as I know more. I will receive a Phone call in what my Surgeon is planning to do and what day and time the Biopsy will take place.

    God’s Blessings on your Lord’s Day! 🙏❤️✝️📖

Judith. Thank you for the update with you prayers that your ultrasound can be scheduled quickly. 2 weeks is a long time to wait. 🙏🏻. Prayers for your diseased skin to heal & inflammation come down.
    Plus wisdom for drs.
Thank you for posting the veggies with air fryer.

Susan. Happy Australia Day. Though already Monday when you get this. Loved the picture.
Wednesday is Kansas day. The day Kansas became a state. I also believe it is China New Year’s Day that day 1/29.
Praying for Colin & see cardiologist asap. 🙏🏻
So did you like using your new Bible. We both got new Bibles. I am enjoying using mine though it is thick. I just got a new case for it too.

Linda. Sorry about your lost. 93 is a good life I’m sure.
We have a celebration of life on Wednesday Kansas day at our old church. So we will see lots of old friends. Prayers of the family.
So you have a Bible study on Tuesday like me, Yours is at night mine is in the morning. We haven’t had many this month due to the snow & cold.
Yes the snow is still around. Hardly anyone shovels or clears sidewalks so walking is still a challenge. We are to have some days on the 40’s so maybe more melting we hope. I am getting tired of it as it is 3 weeks old today.

Busy day with watching football games. Eagles is the team where I’m from & accent i have. Plus chiefs the team we live at now. Praying they win. Though it is close.

Sending pics from the party plus the sweater I made, my first knitted or sweater I made for myself.

We had the "Kick-off" service for the beginning of the year this morning. We usually wait until this time because the college students come back to school and they will be at the service to hear what is planned for the year. We will be focusing on Matthew for the first part of the year going chapter by chapter talking about what Jesus did to love people. The main Topic of the year is that we will learn to be the "Hands and Feet of Jesus". There can be quite a few ways to think about this and will be interesting how it will be integrated into the services for the year. It could include loving, encouraging, praying, serving, and talking to others about Jesus. I am excited to see how we can all grow in these areas.

Barb - I actually have two Bible studies on Tuesday. We have a zoom Bible Study for 2 hours from 11:30am to 1:30pm with a group of women from the Denver Church and then at 5:30pm we have a Bible study with people from Grand Junction in our house. If I have anything else scheduled, it makes for a very long day. Since I am not having physical therapy on Tuesday anymore, it does give me a little more time. This Thursday will probably be the last therapy I have. I feel like I am pretty much back to normal
with most everything. Thanks for sharing the birthday party pictures. It looks like everyone had a great time. Your knitted sweater you made for yourself is gorgeous. With your cold weather, sweaters is what you need to be wearing.

Judith - I hope you get the biopsy soon so the right treatment can start. It has been a long and painful journey so far and I would love for it to be over soon with the correct treatment. I know at the right time, God has the perfect plan for you but I humanly wish it is very soon. Obviously, when He is ready things will fall into place.

Susan - I hope you are doing well and are just busy since we did not hear from you. I was just thinking about you grooming your dogs. When we had our little cocker spaniel, I bought a grooming set to cut her hair but she was so afraid of the noise, I never got to really use it. How did you get your dogs used to being groomed? We would let her hair grow long in the winter for the warmth and then in the summer we would shave her. She would get so excited after her summer shave like she felt the freedom of the wind blowing past her as she ran. She would look so skinny after seeing her full coat during the winter.

Barb, thank you for posting the Picture links, I love the Sweater you made, so lovely and the colour is so nice. I am sure your Granddaughter loved the sweater. The Birthday Girl is so sweet celebrating her 8th Birthday! The Party with everyone there looked so nice. Thank you for sharing all the pictures. Glad you enjoyed the air fryer recipe.

Linda, love the Theme Being the Hands and Feet of Jesus. And your study for the year out of the Book of Matthew. I love a Cocker Spaniel, such sweet small dogs. I am sure your sweet fur baby looked so sweet after being shaved. My Kitty get shaved 2x a year as she has thick Persian type fur. I hear you about you saying your girl looked so skinny after being shaved. Miss sunshine looks skinny when she is shaved.

I am hoping I get the day and time for my Biopsy and can hear soon about the Ultrasound for my neck! Will let you know as soon as I hear.

God’s Blessings on your night and week ahead!
    Be back tomorrow! ❤️🙏

Have a great Monday/Tuesday all Tuesday for Susan.

The sweater was the very first sweater I have made for myself. I have made lots of sweaters my kids when younger, & grand children.
It’s a short sleeve sweater for the spring or summer.

    Prayers for all requests.
    Happy Monday or Tuesday all.

Hello friends. It's a busy day here overlaid with a family crisis. We are going to the Dr for Colin this morning, then I have a haircut, a meeting with the producer of our play to write a bit more for the final scene, then friends are arriving to stay a few days.

    Please forgive my distraction.

I have read everyone's posts and am praying. I thank you for praying for us.

Linda, I loved your photos and sweater. Your grandchildren are precious. I hope the snow melts soon. Yes, I love the new Bible and also have a new case! The old onecwas flaking away, being pleather and old. Th we new one is canvas.

Judith, your medical treatment and you are definitely on my mind and in my prayers.

Linda, I took both dogs to people who groom for a living from when they were puppies. I followed the advice of a groomer about what equipment to buy for grooming them and asked for a basic grooming lesson, then took it from there. I always have handled dogs as pets and can usually do anything I want to do with them as far as handling goes, so they trust me I guess.

Continue prayers for Judith. Many prayers formulating & wisdom for drs treating you. Also, that you can rest when you need it.
Plus that you hear from biopsy soon. Wisdom for drs with that news.

Susan. Continue prayers for Colin. I sure hope you can see the cardiologist soon. Hope the haircut is good. Also, prayers for your play. I think it’s this weekend the performance you are in 🙏🏻.

Linda. Praying you might be getting this warm up we are getting here in Kansas city area. Today it was 45*. So nice. The next 2 days are to be mild May even hit 50* tomorrow. So hopefully the snow melts. We are to have get some rain Thursday-Friday so that may take care of the snow too. That will make it so easier to walk. I’m tired of the snow as it’s been over 3 weeks now so I am still wearing boots when I walk outside.

Prayers for all. Marilyn & Willow. God knows what we all need. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We had our new washing machine delivered today. It was amazing how quickly they were able to get it out of the truck and into the house. Glenn said they had straps that they put under the machine and around their waists like a belt. They stood up and the machine was carried it between them with their hands only steadying it. I did not see it but Glenn was impressed with it. We were a bit concerned that they might scratch our floors with the wheels of the dolly moving it but they did not touch the floor at all with this contraption of belts. I have not tried the washer out but it has an agitator that can be removed when I put big items in it and it will still wash the clothes. I am not sure how it works. I will need to read the instruction book to see what to do.

We had two appointments cancelled this afternoon so I had extra time to do things around the house. I decided to do some sewing projects that had been waiting to be done. One was to make cloth bowl covers for a friend who does not like to use anything plastic like plastic wrap over leftovers. She is has also been canning all Fall and continues to do so even now so she does not have to depend on going to the store for food when her garden is not growing. Another project I worked on was that I had a towel that I did not use that I cut into squares to make dish clothes to use at the cabin during the summer. I usually take up my old kitchen towels and dishcloths but they have gotten almost worn out. Since it is very rustic, I do not like to take my good kitchen towels/dishcloths up there because they get so dirty. Now I have "new" dishcloths that were free and I do not care if they get stained.

Susan - I am praying for the family crisis that you are having. With all the things that you already have going on it your life, I pray as JC did in the prayer thread, that this does not disrupt what you already are dealing with in Colin's health. I look forward to hearing about the play that is coming up soon. I am sure everyone will love it. I love it and I have not seen it and probably never will unless you all become famous and you are on TV.

Judith - Thank-you for the detailed update. My heart breaks for you just hearing what you continue to go through, and it is inspiring to hear your strong faith in your healing. We are cheering you on as we pray every day.
    u
Barb - how exciting that it is warming up where you are. We also had warmer temperatures. It was almost 50F (10C) today. It was so nice not to have to wear a heavy coat when we went outside. A sweater was just all we needed.

Susan, I am praying for your family crisis and trusting God to bring restoration and healing amongst all the family. And I continue to keep Colin in prayer trusting for a miracle of God’s Healing upon Colin’s Heart and his body from the Crown of his Head to the Soles of his feet in Jesus Name I pray Amen! Your play that you are preparing to do is so exciting, I look forward to the pictures and hearing all about the parts both you and Colin take part in. Hope you enjoy your haircut and hope Colin’s Doctor’s appointment goes well. Thanks for your prayers Susan!

Linda, it’s wonderful that you can sew and make your own dish cloths and cleaning cloths, when you are at the cabin you can take those cloths you made and don’t have to worry about ruining your good cloths. So happy you got your new washing machine and dryer. Always so nice to have a brand new machine. It’s amazing how the men bring heavy appliances into your home and not damage your floors or even nic the walls. So cool they used straps around their waists and didn’t even use a dolly. So impressive. Enjoy your new machines.

Barb, so happy you are warming up in your area. It’s so nice you will have a new sweater you made for yourself for the Spring and cooler days in the summer. Sorry I thought the sweater you made was for your granddaughter but it’s nice that you do make a lot of sweaters for your family. You have a nice gift to be able to knit such lovely sweaters. Thanks for your encouragement for my weight gain; today I gained 1 ounce and now weigh 94.1 pound! YAY 👍😊

Prayers for Marilyn and JC 🙏

Have a great evening all! Sending you all my
    Love Hugs and Prayers! ❤️🤗🙏

I will have Ladies Bible study only for the 2 time this month due to snow, cold and off for teachers inservice.

    Prayers for all.

I make nnew knitted dishcloths for my family and me every year. Now you know some of what I give my family for Christmas. Your projects sound neat Linda.
Hope using the new washer will be easy for you.

Most of my day was spent in two different Bible Studies or cleaning for one. We had a nice group for this evening and talked about what our favorite scriptures were and why. It was very encouraging to hear what is special for each one. We also made a plan for this Sunday which is small group church in our home. We will be having brunch before our study. I had thought about making scrambled eggs but the price is so high I am not sure I can do that. Are your eggs higher in price due to the bird flu that is killing the chickens here in the States? We are paying over $7 for a dozen eggs now.

I used my new washer for the first time today and it was wonderful not to have soggy towels. It even seems to be quieter than my old one. Over all, I am pleased with it.

Susan - praying for a speedy resolution of the crisis in your family and for Colin's health. Will he be able to be in the play? I don't now how much he has to speak or move across the stage.

Judith - praying for the biopsy and ultrasound to be scheduled quickly this week. Congratulations on your weight loss! Keep up the good work.

Barb - Praying for melting of the snow and ice. Snow is pretty when it first comes down but it is not so pretty when it is hindering your ability to walk on it or to be safe. Making presents for my family is also something I like to do. I do not think the young children as very impressed with them by my children like them.

Barb, so glad you make dishcloths and other things for your family. I too have made dishcloths and given to both my family and friends. I have a stack of dishcloths right now and gave some to friends with their Christmas Gift this past Christmas. I have made things for my family over the years and they look forward to them and love it when I do. I make handmade Christmas Cards for my family every Christmas.

Linda, this is so neat that you and Barb and myself make things for our family at Christmas. And the 3 of us making dish cloths, so neat! So glad you like your new washing machine. That is such a great idea to have House Church and to share how a Scripture Verse spoke to you. Our Ladies Group have done that and it is so encouraging how a Verse spoke to a heart and
how it brought someone closer to Jesus.

Praying for you Susan and Colin for the family crisis, that it will be resolved and praying for Colin’s healing.

Praying for Sandi, JC and Marilyn for God’s Will to be done. 🙏😇✝️📖

Hello everyone. I have tried to come and talk with you three times today and been interrupted each time.

The family crisis involves one of our sons. I think it is going to take a lot you solve it. It is quite stressful for us all, as we love them all so much. Thank you for praying about it.

Colin got an appointment to have a stress test Feb 10th. It is under a private Cardiologist and that means things are moving faster now, thankfully. The Lord is good.

Our dress rehearsal for the play was today. It went alright. It will be fine on Saturday. Colin can no longer be in it, unfortunately. He would be unable to breath under the load of his costume and the dance they were going to do. But he will come along for the Matineee, all being well, and watch.

I have sewn for my family too. I made each grandchild a quilt, have made each family bowl warmers and have made their Christmas cards and some home decor items and Christmas tree decorations over the years. It makes everything special.

Good morning maybe afternoon or early eve for Susan

So glad you got us updated Susan. Praying play turns out well. I was wondering if Colin would be able to,be still in it. So glad you got an earlier cardiologist appointment. God is good. Prayers for wisdom for the dr in treating him

Judith. Prayers that your ultrasound will be soon & drs will have wisdom in treating your prayers you are sleeping ok & for weight gain & less pain. Plus able some time to eat more food of your liking.

Linda so glad you like your washer & it’s quieter. Yes we are seeing more grass and more street curbs. I still need to wear bots in walking. I hope to be able to walk with Mariposa this morning. It’s encouraging that the snow is melting.
We are to get rain not snow on Thursday Friday & that should wash the salt from the street & maybe snow away.
Eggs are expensive here too. Harry just got jumbo eggs for $5.87 yesterday at a local grocery store here.
I heard that eggs will go up more to a new bird flu strain.
I also have a funeral to attend at our old church this evening so a busy full day.
    Prayers for all.

Barb, sorry you have a funeral to attend. I hope it is a comforting one. I am glad to hear the snow is melting. Have a nice walk with Mariposa! Yes, eggs have gone up here and are a bit scarce. We pay anywhere from $6 to $11 per carton of 12 jumbo eggs.

Judith, I hope all goes well with your scans. Maybe they will find out some information that will help. I am praying for that. 🙏 🤲

Linda, it so nice to have a new, quieter machine! May it last a long time for you, being efficient and quiet always. 🤫

Card class for me today. We are making the same cards I showed you before. There will be 6 of us, including me and my friend who is staying with us.

We made the 3 hours round trip to COSTCO today. I am sad we have to travel so far but the one they were planning to build here in Grand Junction was canceled because the builders could not agree with the city on some details. As usual, when we go there we buy things that we did not expect to buy but it is such a great price being a large warehouse and selling things in bulk. We were able to buy 8 dozen eggs with the price being $4.06 each dozen. The eggs at Walmart today was $7 a dozen. We will not use all of them before they expire so I will freeze a lot to have for later when we need more. It is very convenient to do it that way although I blenderize them so if I wanted a fried egg, I would not be able to have that. The eggs work great for cooking and baking which is mostly what I need them for.

I have a busy day tomorrow with my last physical therapy appointment, donating blood, a TOPS meeting and some computer work to do. I am going to put my dinner in the crock pot so it will be ready by evening. I am making Chicken Azteca which is easy to just put in and let it cook until we are ready to eat.

Susan - I am glad that Colin is getting in earlier to have his stress test. Paying extra does help when our health is fragile. I am hoping that your play goes on without any problems. I'm sorry that Colin can not be in it but am glad that he can go to the Matinee to see it. I am praying for your son and his situation. God knows the details and it hurts his heart to see you all hurting and stressed.

Barb - I am glad that your snow is melting. It gives us hope that Spring is on the way eventually. I hope your and Mariposa have a fun walk in the warmer weather.

Judith - how do you make your dish cloths - knitted, crocheted, etc?

Susan so glad you were able to secure an earlier appointment for Colin to see a Cardiologist. Trusting God for Some answers of what can be done to help Colin. I am sorry Colin can’t be in the play now. I will pray it goes well and Colin is able to attend the Matinee performance so he can at least watch it. Enjoy your card making class. So glad you make things for your family. You reminded me about the decorations I made for my tree and a Ribbon Tree for decoration and an Angel. My dish cloths are knitted.

Barb, so glad your snow is melting and you are planning a walk with Mariposa. That will be so fun for you. Thank you for your prayers! Thanks for cheering me on in my smal weight gain. It’s exciting even 1 ounce is better than a loss.

Linda, your eggs are the same price as ours are at our Walmart. You sure got a good price for eggs at Costco, that’s awesome. Not sure what our eggs are selling for at our Canadian Costco.
You asked about my dish cloths how I made them, I knit them, did basket Weave pattern and some were plain. I am also making an Afghan but I am slow, been working on it a little at a time the past two years. Not in any hurry just pick it up when I am feeling like knitting.

Have a good night sleep off to bed I go now

Judith Praying for you that you keep your ounces if not maybe gain a bit more. Also praying for your ultrasounds I hope they are soon. Then we w ill be pryaing for wisdom for your Drs and knowing how to treat you.

Susan, praying for Colin and so glad that you got a earlier cardiologist appointment. Prayers for wisdom for him. Praying for your son, and the situation with wisdom from God and His peace in knowing what to do.
Also as it wil be February soon and your performance coming up oh so soon.

Linda, you got a busy day I hope all goes well. Prayers. What does TOPS stand for? I use to donate my blood, and even earned a 5 gallon pin with Red Cross. Since here in KC we have a community blood donation I have given more than the 40 times. Most of my donations beiing done at a high school, while working. Each time you donate there is a scar so getting blood from me for Drs. can be challenging that I don't donate any more.
Hope your PT goes well too.
I hope you post your recipe, as I am to eat more chicken foods, and cooking in a crockpot make it so easy. Your recipe sounds yummy.

I also knit dishcloths, but also make scrubbies out of scrubby yarns. This I crochet. I make both every year for family for Christmas
Yesterday was China New Year or Lunar New Year. I will enclose Mariposa in in New Year's dress. Yes, we had a nice walk. Most of the snow is gone, except if sidewalks are not shoveled or the big piles. Today it's to rain and maybe that will wash the snow away plus the salt on the roads and our cars.

I will send Mariposa on my cell as I cannot pull it up on the computer, and since my earlier text disappeared I went tot the computer. So pic comiong.
    Have a great day.

Today was my last meeting with the physical therapist, I donated blood, walked for 30 minutes and went to my TOPS meeting. I lost 1/4 pound but as Judith says, every ounce counts. In my case it was weight lost. I asked the phlebotomist at where I donated blood and she said that a unit of blood weighs about a pound. Of course they encourage you to drink lots of water as well as eat a high protein snack which puts back the pound lost during the donation.

Susan - how are you and Colin doing? I am praying for less stress for both of you. I hope the play is not giving you more stress. It will be over soon and just be a pleasant memory.

Barb - The name TOPS stands for Take Off Pounds Sensibly. We are not all doing the same weight loss program but all support each other. Marilyn from our group is also in a TOPS group. Mariposa is so cute in her special dress. Did you make it for her? You have not mentioned sewing but you are so talented, I thought maybe that was one of your skills too.

Judith - keep up the good work of maintaining your weight gain. We cheer you on with each ounce you gain. Do you have a special crochet pattern you are using for your Afghan? What colors are you using? How big is it going to be when it is finished?

Hello everyone. Sorry for not chatting yesterday.

We said goodbye to our friends who were staying with us in the morning, then I made a Caesar Salad from scratch.

My school friend Ian arrived for lunch so we chatted the afternoon away.

Then Colin and I went to a get together with all the Once Upon a Time people.

We also volunteered to help blow up helium balloons after that and I wound up giving a friend a lift to Officeworks to pick up a poster advertising a Murder Mystery dinner on Feb 15th. Officeworks is open till 9pm.

I kind of crashed after that.

Today is the show! Here I am as Alice in Wonderland with my magical book of fairy stories!

I'll tell you about it tomorrow!

Yes, Colin is resting and is even resting right now. He is determined to come to the matinee.

Judith, so sorry about your fatigue. Yes please, do rest.

Barb, Mariposa is so cute! I love her in her Happy New Year clothes.

Linda, what a relief to be done with the hip clinic. Congratulations on your weight loss too.

I need to keep moving today. Life should settle down a little after today.

Barb - the picture of your toe looks painful. I have done that before on the leg of a chair and wearing shoes is difficult. I am praying that it will heal quickly and shoes will not be too painful.

Susan - just when I think things will settle down, something comes along to take up my time. They say that is what keeps us young but I find that hard to believe some day. You look wonderful as Alice. I hope things go well for the play. That is quite an accomplishment.

Glenn is getting together with some guy friends in the dining room so I am typing in the bedroom with the blankets pulled up to keep warm. I could put on the heater but the blankets feel really cozy. I may have to take a nap. I will try to read my book but who knows if there is be some snoring soon. LOL
