    Celebrations!

    Our team came in 3rd place last week! 🎉

    Congrats to our highest team losers: @Gidgitgoescrzy @wishfuljune @angelaor84 🥳

    @wishfuljune and @Gidgitgoescrzy have both lost 45 pounds since their highest weight!

    We had just about 1/2 of our team in the green last week!

    Let's keep up the great work! 😊

    @strong_fit_ells Hope work slows down for you soon.
    @Lyss983 Nice loss this week

    @micki48 - What a place the world is in now. This group is fantasist, regardless of boarders we are a community and support each other. Feeling for the US folks who are losing their jobs as public sector government employees.

    @babyw8gone - welcome to the group.

    I just want to say to all of our international friends and especially my Canadian friends here, I am so sorry that the leaders of the United States are being so awful. It is a nightmare. I ask you to please do not give up on us in the U.S. There are millions of good people here trying to make this stop. We will fight.

    That said, you may not want me in this group anymore, but I cannot be silent. I have made so many friends here over six years and I want you to know millions of us are not supportive of what is going on in our country. We need you to know this. I want you to know this. Please keep us in your prayers if you are the praying sort.

    Micki, I am so sorry your and so many others are going through this. I am Australian, but also a US citizen and I have a huge amount of family there and have lived there, and my heart is breaking. It's such a scary time. I have trans and LGBTI+ friends who are all having to face fear and uncertainty that no one should have to in any right-thinking country, and I have extended family who are migrants who are suffering the same. I can't even imagine what it mist be like for the thousands of people losing their jobs through no fault of their own and having to watch their fellow Americans laugh and jeer and tell them they deserve it.

    Thank you for the welcome! I am excited to be joining this group! My name is Dina, and I am a 44-year old mom of four and a middle school teacher. I love what I do! I have always been into nutrition and exercise, but I have been struggling with gaining and losing 10-15 pounds since I hit 40. I currently weigh 150, and feel best at 135. I do weights at the gym a few times a week and walk outside when the weather is cooperating in Ohio. My problem is that I love food a little too much! I am excited to have the support from this group to lose 15 pounds (and keep them away)!

    I'm seeing lots of green so far this week! 💚

    Welcome @babyw8gone! I can't wait for spring! How has your winter been in Ohio?

    Today was warm again, I sat outside on my lunch break and went for a walk this evening! Soaking up the warm weather while it lasts! 🌞

    Today was busy busy. Non-stop til now. I finally saw a doctor about this cough I’ve had since mid-January. He put me on symbacort. I don’t like taking another medication but it’s helping already. My asthma was getting bad because of the cold.

    Anyway, met my step goal today but food wise it was more like maintenance eating. Typical for me. Maybe tomorrow I will log my food.

    Welcome @babyw8gone glad to have you join us. Lots of wise advice here. And we all love food a little too much.

    Thanks @Alatariel75. I’m sure it must be hard to watch from afar. And how scary for our LGTBQ+ friends. It is so difficult. I hope your family here is ok.

    Just checking in fellow WaistAways-ers. I started week 4 of my Yogaburn DVDs (a 12 week program) and just want to say, this is the furthest I have gotten in the 12 week program! I usually give up around week 3 because the exercises get too hard and/or I burn myself out. I was able to get through week 3 with modifications but felt stronger by the end of the week. I'm so happy to get past being stuck on week 3. Just wanted to share my excitement.

    That is awesome! Such a great NSV!! 🎉

    Huge loss! I know it's because last week when I weighed I was still all over the shop because of being in hospital and having intravenous fluids in my system.

    But huge milestone - I know I track in KG, but I'm aware of LBS and I AM UNDER 200LBS!! My weight in Lbs starts with a 1!!

    @angelaor84 hello and welcome! congrats on getting past week 3, that's awesome!!

    @lauren_989 you asked earlier about how I can plan to be better about snacking. I would say I failed yesterday, since I left some meal prep from Sunday to last night, and dinner wasn't fully ready when I got home. But today is dance cardio day and I got home late so I don't have time to snack! That's not a great solution but my job is moving into a potentially hectic period for the next few months (yay me) which might mean I simply don't have the hours to laze around, and those are typically the times when I start reaching for a snack.

    Temps have really risen in the Boston area the last 3 days, it's only like 40 F out but it feels like spring. I'm not ready for winter to be over! So I took Friday off and I will be taking a group bus to vermont to ski for the day!

    Congrats! That's such a fun and huge milestone and I would not have noticed had you not converted for us so thank you! Do your happy dance girl

    @Kali225
    Glad the work ramping up is a good thing. We have spring like temps up here in Alberta too and it's lovely!!

    Since we have gotten back from Mexico work has been insanely busy so apologies for being a bit quiet. @micki48 i tried posting some photos but the upload isn't working on my phone either so I'll see about a different way. Still basking in the glow of how great it was!!

    AGH! I just got logged back in, so I will post my steps momentarily. I went to Chichen Itza many years ago and swam in a cenote near it. I bet we went to the same one! If so, isn't it gorgeous?!

    100% this. There have been times in the past where I wasn't the proudest to be a U.S. citizen, but what is happening now is downright embarrassing. It is not reflective of all Americans. Just because our leader wants to isolate, does not mean all of us do.

    Hey WaistAways! I thought I would login more last week since I was out of town, but it turns out that doing sales visits wears me out!

    I have seen a drop in weight every week so far this year, but I am not so sure about tomorrow's weigh-in. I didn't eat too terribly while I was out of town, but I definitely had some bloat and water weight when I got home.

    @Alatariel75 - I am glad you are feeling better, and huge congratulations on making it back down into the 100's! That is awesome!

    @Kali225 - Way to go on hitting your step count every day! You're killing it!

    @Gidgitgoescrzy - I hope your stomach issues are resolved quickly!

    @babyw8gone - Welcome!
