It was time for Bean to go meet the other spirit pups. The vet said it was the right time. He wasn't getting enough oxygen, he wasn't eating enough and what he did eat came back up. He was sooo thin. It was so sad. We watched Collin and Ronan while Sara and Pete took Bean to the vet. They stayed for dinner and we talked about the 14 years Sara had him. She got him when he was 1 year old. He fit on our lap then. It's been a sad day.

Chris I can't believe he was 14. I remember when you worried over walking him since he got so hot. So sorry for you and your family. They become such a part of our lives.

I understand how difficult losing your trainer/friend will be. We went back for a doll Sanara dropped out the window. We were traveling across country. Luckily it wasn't to far back.

Thanks for all the tips ladies. Paula I had saved them also. New update ruined that.

Kathy I am still attempting to learn Spanish. so changed my keyboard. What a mess.

Been busy with work lately. And working out. Zumba last night.

Karen I know your trip will be wonderful.

I’m still in my reorganization/ minimalist process. Yesterday we started on my office and got rid of a few things. The hardest part of this is to not go from one thing to another but to finish what you started. I failed. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I moved to a closet but I did accomplish a few things. It was definitely my workout yesterday. I worked for a little over 2 hours.

Today I’m going to a play at a local art center with 3 friends. Should be fun.

    Have a great day ladies.

My plan is to walk to Raley's where there is a blue mail box. Hopefully it is not in disrepair 🙃. The Google map says it's 2.45 miles from our house, so that'll be just about 5 miles. I'll be good with that. It's the only other blue mail box in town. I remember when they were everywhere.

Yesterday I walked to the post office before it closed. I asked the Counter Person if the mail box had been hit more than the two times I've seen it…she said it happens a lot! Egads, man!!

Well, that's the plan…I'll keep you posted.

    Chris,

So sorry for your loss. I remember how happy he made you when Sara first got him. Seems like only yesterday.

Our local post office is only open for an hour on the weekend; 10:30-11:30, Saturday. I always miss that window, except for this weekend. I was so proud of myself and since I needed to pick up a package, I went down - but it was closed. I checked daylight savings time and it was the right time. Maybe the postmaster didn't set their clock back? I spent several minutes wondering what could'a and just being perplexed.

I just couldn't figure it out until finally a nice lady walked by. I asked her, "Do you know why the PO is closed?" Because it's Sunday, she said…

Paula, you made me laugh…I've caught myself going out to our mailbox on Sunday…"What?? What do you mean, No mail????" 😅

I walked to the UPS Store yesterday. They have a mailbox on the sidewalk, and they also take mail inside! Bonus! However…somebody took the wrong turn coming home and was lost. Had to text her husband to get home. I ended up with 6 miles in 124 mins instead of the 5 miles I would have gotten if I'd not turned right instead of going straight. Direction Dysfunction!!

We had Collin this morning then I had my trainer at noon for a 60 min workout. Ronan was here after school. Now I'm going to eat soup and read.

    Chris,

Glad you made it home. Makes me giggle but I can imagine that might be scary. We're awful, aren't we!

I'm glad I noticed my scheduling challenges when I was young. Helps to know it isn't senility. I'm dyslexic, easily distracted and my thoughts go off on all kinds of tangents. When I read, my eyes jump all over the page & it takes effort to read each word. But the tradeoff is easily seeing the big picture, doing puzzles, analysis, dreaming up stories, etc. It's part of my brilliant charm, haha, 😂 …at least that's what my friends say. 😎

Paula I also was laughing. Such an easy thing when retired. Days just don't matter as much. I will have to get a clock that tells the days of the week.

Chris I get turned around easily. Glad you have a knight in shining armor. What a walk!

Leg workout was today. I will be sore. Still practicing my Spanish. But slow going.

Yesterday completed 30 on recumbent, a 20 minute FitOn walking challenge and an upper body challenge.

Chris your walking is mind blowing. Glad you made it home.

Paula I’ve noticed when I get in my car I have to consciously think where I’m going before I take off or there may be a few wrong turns made. 🤣

Shelley I’m working in my bedroom this week. This is not fun but necessary. I look at it as another workout. Maybe I’ll see progress soon.

Well, today is my birthday!! I am officially 75 years old. I got hit by a car when I was 16 and crossing the street…the doctors told my mother that due to the damage done to my organs, I wouldn't live past 35…hahahaha! And where are those doctors now???

We had Collin this morning. He was learning to drink from a sippy cup…a lot of water everywhere!! Then I went to my trainer for a 60 min workout. It's supposed to rain here, so I'm just gonna drink coffee and read.

Late posting. Bouncing a lot but today (3/12) it's down to 213.2… I'm in ketosis again, what a blessing. No cravings, just drinking lots of coffee and nibbling on chicken cabbage soup if I haven't eaten in awhile.

    Shelley,

Those clocks are great. A decade ago, I bought a simple clock for my MIL that just showed days of the week. But now they do everything: time, date, temperature, automatic DST and on battery so they work when the power's out. I got myself one when I retired and liked it so much, I bought two more. ♥️

We have Collin this morning. Pat will be getting Ronan after Collin is p/u.

We have rain and wind today. So cold!

There is a total eclipse of the moon tonight. Starts at 8:57 tonight here in California. Supposed to be so cool…if there are no rain clouds blocking it!

Chris I totally missed your Birthday! Those doctors are long gone! You showed them. :) I went out and looked at the moon last night. It was bright.

Paula I will have to get several of those clocks also. They have to look nice though. Nothing tacky. Trying to get my house in shape. Cleaning out closets like Kathy!

I worked out last night. Now I am sore. But not regretting it. It was a great workout. Tonight is Zumba. I might need a new top for Zumba classes. I feel like my arms are finally starting to look like I want them to. Now if I could just get my midsection to catch up. It is snowing right now as I type this. Watching it get heavier by the minute. We need the moisture so no complaints.

Shelley, yeah, I didn't see any eclipse last night. Pat thinks the article got it wrong…maybe it's supposed to be tonight or…hahahaah…never!!! I'm going to investigate.

Well, it looks like we both missed it. It did happen. google has pictures!

We had Collin this morning. I went to my trainer for a 60 min workout. Pat is picking up Ronan from school now.

It poured when I got home from my trainer and when Pat left and then it stopped and now the sun is shining in our back yard. I am so confused!!!

    Okay, that's all…

Sunday morning completed 30 minutes on recumbent, a FitOn 20 minutes indoor walking challenge and 10 minute upper body strength training.

Thank you Shelley for the kick in the butt and the virtual hug. I needed both.

Now I’m going to take a bubble bath with epsom salt. Then going to Ron’s for the afternoon.

    ❤️❤️❤️

    Good job, Kathy!

I am doing nothing! Reading junk and drinking coffee. I'm going to try to finish then book I'm reading and start a new one. I have so many to read!!!

The kids are in Disneyland with friends for the weekend. We won't see them until Tuesday.

It's cloudy and breezy here. Tomorrow it will be less windy. I'll be going to the Ruins.

That's it for now. Have a great Sunday my friends.

It's amazing how good sunshine is for the soul. I'm in a pretty good place, but the sun adds a kind-of peaceful smile.

Met with friends for our monthly potluck Saturday. Also good for the soul.

Shelley, do you have any sea urchins? I suspect not. I've heard they're little piggies and would probably eat everybody... But this makes me giggle. - paula

    Shelley, here it is…

Egads! I don't know how I did that 🤯! There is a scroll bar at the bottom of the picture. Move your little hand down there after you hit the triangle.

Chris I totally missed that! Lunar eclipse is not as pretty as a full moon though.

Kathy glad it helped. We all need a kick sometime.

Paula I have had some in the past. I can't seem to keep them happy. They start out tiny and grow large. Then poof they die! So sad. And yes they stuck all types of silly things on themselves.

    So tired.

    night all Shelley

    Shelley, so true!

We Had Collin this morning. He and I did 1.66 miles in 51 mins to the farm and around past the Dog Park. He fell asleep and snoozed in the stroller until Pat got home with Ronan. Pete picked him up soon after he woke.

We had our eye exams yesterday. We both passed! Neither of us needed new glasses. Yeah! Getting dilated is the worst.

    No trainer today.

I am doing just about nothing! I'm gonna read, eat popcorn and drink swamp water.

    Later my friends.

Completed recumbent bike 30 minutes and an upper body workout.

I’m just hanging in trying to get my metabolism moving again. A lot of yo yoing. I haven’t made it to Planet Fitness yet but I will get there.

We had Collin this morning…he did not want to go to the farm or any other place I mentioned!!We played Paw Patrol Chase the Bad Guy for the rest of the morning. Egads, man! I was beat by the time he was picked up. Made coffee, ground coffee beans, thought about walking, but it didn't happen!

Pat picked up Ronan and he told me about a friend who is moving after tomorrow's class. He is sad about it. She is a good friend of his. I asked him when he would be getting a phone to be able to text…he said when he was pre-teen…next year when he turned 10. 😆 We talked about writing letters until then. I told him to give her his address and she could write him and give him her address. He liked that idea. I hope it works. It would be so cool if they stayed in touch with each other.

Now I'm drinking coffee and am going to read.
