    I've tried prunes for 3 days, 3 prunes per day. I think they may have been perhaps slightly helpful. That said, I was expecting better results so I am going to lay off of them for a while.

    Increasing coconut oil intake again. My skin and hair have been dry and my joints have been sore so I think I need more healthy fats. Still taking fish oil as well.

    Hi Pals. Been on road and last doc appt yesterday for a while so trying to get my grove back. Stress ate the last few days and have about three pounds of carb-age weight. Great weather predicted here in NC so will plan in some daily walks, lots of water and veggies. Been playing with AI for fitness tips and it’s been fascinating and scary. Gonna see how it works!

    Happy Easter! @justgirl81 - not sure I’m right in saying a lot is new - some is and most is just packaged differently, more concise, and particular to my situation.

    it started by me reading a post somewhere about the benefits of pole dancing and all the hundreds of comments from folks who said it got them in the best of shape, esp core.

    So that began the rabbit hole with AI - and a bunch of questions. “If no pole what do I do”. “ I’m (age, sex, height, weight etc) - how do I combine this with weight training if I have only three days a week”. “If I like Caroline Girvan what three workouts would you suggest” etc etc?


    then with each answer it prompts you - want a meal plan, want macros, want extra fitness tips to reach your goal, what’s your time frame, want some food suggestions if I don’t like (yogurt, cottage cheese etc) - and by the time I was done I had a clear program for the next six weeks!

    very cool! Although I know AI still needs to be looked at carefully - scary!

    Hi! So soooooore! Started back working out after a months long break. I always tell myself I won’t allow myself to stop for so long that it takes 15 minutes to sit down on any chair - esp the toilet. 🤪But I let the stress get to me.

    Back to step aerobics, Caroline Girvan, core workouts and my Les Mills! Feeling great to be back just sore!!

    Dialing in the nutrition too and hope the scale weight won’t play with my head too much. I know it’s water retention but hate to see it!

    Major blowup yesterday. The conversation re the hoarding got ballistic - father screaming, crying, tornado response. All the while screaming I “just want to control everything”. Sigh. As if the 13 years of caregiving is pure delight because I’m power hungry. I packed everything to leave but my niece begged me to stay and I didn’t want to leave my mom.

    Something has to give just not sure what and when.

    Boxing workout today! Need to relieve this stress. WWJD??? 🙏

    Thanks @justgirl81. No I haven’t. Will look into it now! Love the title and quite fitting.

    And speaking of fit - my clothes are fitting looser. Have to think that the higher level of stress cuts my appetite and resulting in some loss.

    Strange - my clothes are looser even at about 7-10 pounds more than I was a couple of years ago. By “look” I could easily stop losing, but I’ll admit to chasing that scale number and have some belly jiggle I want to firm up. I’m gonna try to lose 5 more then reassess.
