Good afternoon and happy and blessed Sunday. I was thinking about the one and basically the only thing I miss about Texas is we always had lots of birds. They were in the tree on side of the house. We had black birds they call crackle because of their sound but it really wasn't bad, then birds that sorta looked like robins, doves, and small finch like birds. Plus lots of geese, I never saw so many geese. I don't see or hear that many birds here where we are at in Oregon.

For the heck of it I checked what holidays/special days there are for today. Not counting other countries there are a few:

International FND Awareness Day(functional neurological disorder )

    National Make Lunch Count Day

    National Peach Cobbler Day

Scrabble Day (also know as National Scrabble Day)

Thomas Jefferson Day (also know as Thomas Jefferson's birthday)

The Start of Passover (Also known as Pesach, Observed the 15th of Nisan in the Hebrew calendar)

    Palm Sunday

On This Day in History (Things that happened on this day in years past)

I realize this is of real value to know but just thought interesting.

I went to Palm Sunday services and saw many old friends that I hadn't seen in 4 years. That's all that's

    new with me. Hugs all

@Kurtize, I am glad you enjoyed Sunday!! I've noticed a drop in birds too. I am sure it's the bird flu. Even with the Canadian Geese, I am hardly seeing any. Normally they are a pain all over the place. I am as you know on the harbor, but I am also across from a park where they all congregate. Hope today was totally AWESOME!! See ya soon.

    Good Morning VIP friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Tuesday and well it has been a minute since I have been on here. I am struggling a lot lately. I got a Visible Armband 2.0. It is made by people with auto immune illnesses for those who have it and it is supposed to help track so that your flare ups get less and less the longer you use it. I am hoping that is true. Right now I just got the band yesterday so after 4 days they should be able to give me a pace budget. Yesterday was a long day but good day. I am hoping today will be the same

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Yes they told my niece that her son was going to be roughly 12 pounds so she ended up having a c-section because she was scared. He was born and only weighed a little over 8 pounds. So yeah our babies appear bigger than they actually are. Yay on getting the recycling done. That is good. The baby shower was last weekend. It was a blast.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday

@Kurtize hope your Monday was GREAT!
@Patti241 We understand Patti, you've been under so much stress. It's okay.
@Tabatha_Cain Please let us know if the armband works. I have a few friends in horrific pain. With Matteo they said he'd be huge, they were not wrong. LOL! That kid is a brute, so foolishly handsome it's okay

    Hi all!

We are headed out for vacation Tuesday. Going to see Tucker perform in Sacramento Thursday night. Thought we missed out, sold out show. Then DD got us passes through his tour manager. So we are excited and on our way south.

@gouldsgranite WOW!! That's so cool hon!! SUPER CONGRATS!!! I love how kind Tucker is around others, may he always remember these humble times! He treats others so caring! That alone is precious and encouraging, adding in this talent, and WOW!! OH WOW!!!
@Kurtize HI Joyce!!! Indeed, what we think we become. Our thoughts lead us to action, be that action to hide in bed and choose not to move, or move us to ACTION!! Which is why we are here. You set an EXCELLENT example!
@Ronnie_happy2ranch Janey's GS has the moves!! Nice to see ya with us here!

    Good Morning VIP friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. This week has been rough. I called into work 2 days this week with a stomach bug and just started feeling better last night. My daughter informed me last night that she is scheduled for an induction for May 5th. I am not happy about that. She stated she did not want to be induced with this baby and now they have convinced her that the baby is on the bigger side and could get stuck. They are never right about the babies size. My niece was told her son was going to be 12 pounds or more so she opted for a c-section only to find out her baby ended up being just over 8 pounds. She could have had him naturally. Now they are messing with my daughter. I am not happy about that, but I have to go with her wishes. So today I am requesting those the 5th and 6th off incase it goes late into the night.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Friday.

@Tabatha_Cain I am so sorry they are going to the induction. They did it with both of my GD's kids. They both were causing her blood pressure to go CRAZY, and her life was at risk. The 2nd one, she did end up bleeding horribly, I found out the day after they almost lost her! SCARY CRAP that even in todays time having a child can cost a child.

    Good Morning VIP Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Saturday and it is going to be a great day. I am working on getting some things done today even though I work. I am struggling with gaining weight but I am going through some stuff right now. So I could see why. They took me off one of my diuretic medications because it was causing me to feel like I was going to pass out when I stood up. My BP was getting down to 104/72 and that was not good. So now I am having all kinds of crazy weight gain. Even though I have been kind of exercising by taking the dog to the dog park and going outside and throwing a ball for her. Well actually a rock. She loves rocks so I throw a rock and she chases it. She is the weirdest dog I have ever had. Here is an updated photo of her.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Thank you. I did find out why they want to induce her. She is saying they are telling her she has a narrow pelvis so they are worried the baby is going to be too big because she is narrow. So that I can see causing an issue with delivery. Now I understand why. She is trying to go naturally if at all possible before hand. So we will see if she can get things moving.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday

@Patti241 Hi Patti! WB. How are you? You were missed, but we know life gets crazy at times.
@Tabatha_Cain How did the day go? Awww Chloe has grown so much!! She should be great around the baby!! It makes sense on why they want to induce her, likely they'll see how the baby is doing, how she's doing if she wants to go naturally.

@Kurtize Very true, Joyce!! It all depends on our attitude if it's a "problem" or if it's a "Way to grow."

@yakkystuff Awww TY TY TY TY I'd rather look at the opportunity than to feel bad. The more positive I am, the easier life is.
@macrat12 I am grateful for my enemies also (though very few) because they help me to grow by looking at myself. Is there something I need to change (Often it's how I handle the anger, not the anger itself at this point)? I do not like not being at peace with myself.
@Kurtize Joyce, I remember as a kid being fascinated by the Wright brothers, how many times they had to try this, try that, retry, and so forth before they could fly. It taught us not to give up. Our teacher was excellent with the class discussion. We all walked away from the lesson knowing it was valuable information for life. I think I was in the 3rd grade.
