Feeling back on track after some derailment around my birthday a couple weeks ago. I'm training for a very casual online lifting competition in a month (Garage Gym Competition). I did it for the first time in October so I'm just looking to beat my numbers from last year at a lower weight. I think I'm getting fatigued from training as I've failed to hit all my rep this week, so I'm glad I'm still working with an online trainer who helps me modify the volume so I can perform well in the competition.

Hi Y'all:
First…a quick and sincere "thank you" to @Pupowl and @frankwbrown for all that you've done over the past month, while I'm fighting colds and swelling/leg pain…my cold is much better, no more dizziness and ear ache is much better…swelling continues to improve…some days are better than others, but as my weight goes down, so do these issues. This past week was a challenge. I missed one day of work because with the dizziness, I was afraid to drive and walking to and from the bathroom was slow…so going into the huge office and trying to be productive would NOT have been possible. Rested all day, put heat on the ear and moves slowly and Friday, I was a different person.
Do any of you enjoy Marie Callender's frozen meals? I have liked the traditional entree, with two veggie meals for quite some time, but have started missing Chinese and Mexican foods so discovered her bowls this week. I tried the Chicken Burrito bowl first and it was amazing…only 340 calories, has rice, grilled chicken, black beans, green and red peppers and a nice sauce with a little kick, but not overly spicy. It was quite filling and hours later, I was still satisfied. Had some fruit with it and it was a great evening meal. This week I purchased groceries for the rest of April and got a few more of the bowls to try…looking forward to the one with chicken and pineapple (similar to sweet n sour but not fried)…
Decided not to eat out for Easter…instead I'll fix my baked chicken that I love and some veggies with it and that will provide leftovers for the following week.
I'm having my bathtub removed and a new custom shower installed in June and I'm excited about it. Got a good deal, and won't have to worry about falling when trying to get in/out of the bathtub. I will be able to pay it off interest-free so I love that. My neighbors used this same company a few years ago, had great things to say about it and the company has a great reputation and gives a lifetime warranty with it.

My weight keeps hovering in the same 10 lb. or so, which is irritating. What makes it worse is that my stomach has gotten so puffy my new jeans won't fit! It's VERY frustrating. Weirdly enough though, my wrists are ever so slightly thinner (I can now encircle them with a thumb and forefinger). I'm really feeling like my body is just shuffling weight around, regardless of what I eat.

Huge gardening weekend. Dug up many dead shrubs, trimmed dead branches off of the rest, and spread 60 bags of mulch. Not a lot of steps in bending to weed and spread mulch but still hit my goal yesterday. Lots of stretching on the agenda today. 😊 Happy Dyngus Day everyone!
