TGIF! I went on a nice walk this evening. It's 74 and a slight breeze...perfect walking weather!
Tomorrow we are having some friends over for game night and then Sunday we are going to the park. It's supposed to be nice this weekend here.
Any other plans for the weekend?

The weather has turned sunny here too so I got my shorts out & short sleeve jacket for todays run. After some Saturday cleaning I’m sitting outside for the 1st time this year just soaking in the nice weather

I had a busy day today. Went for a walk and then we went to the park. Later this evening we had friends come over for board games. We had pizza for dinner, but I still made my day work for my calories! Great NSV there!

Weigh-in Day: Friday (Apr 25, 2025)
PW: 243.7
CW: 243.8Apologies for the late post. We left very early on Friday to drive down to Alabama to pick up our youngest son from college. It was a long 9-hour drive on Friday, followed by another long 9-hour return but great to see him and glad to have him back for the summer.

I walked/jogged 3.5 miles today and it felt great! Then we spent the afternoon at the park. It was 73F, sunny, and low humidity. Perfect spring day! My hubby wanted ice cream and I only ate 3 bites of his, NSV!
Great job to the top winners this week: @Mari33a @katiemarreel @inshapeCK 🥳

Hello, thank you for letting me join group. I am looking forward to being part of Mays challenge starting on 4th though I am getting back in to swing of things before that.
I just had my 44th birthday. On my 43rd birthday I was pleased to have lost 177 lb and be a healthy BMI but my health took a turn for the worse and after an extended bout of severe bipolar depression I put 77 of those lb back on again. I am still pleased to be 100lb down from my largest but those 77 lb went on very fast and are not comfortable.
I have lost huge amounts of weight many times so know how to do it but never been able to sustain it. I do best sticking to mostly whole foods and the weight always comes off even though does strange things from time to time along the way, when stick with it the weight comes off sooner or later.
Walking is my favourite exercise. For me the biggest difference between success and failure in my healthy eating goals is community support. I do really well when invested in a community of like minded people. Unfortunately last time I got my support in a 12 step food addiction group with very militant food rules that was like being in a cult and though effective in losing weight was damaging in other ways and not sustainable for me.3 -

@RunawayCurves welcome! We are happy to have you and hope that we can provide support you need! Great job being down 100 pounds! It's crazy how easy it is to gain weight and how hard it is to lose it. Walking is a great exercise! It helps clear my mind as well.
