    Good Morning VIP Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Saturday and it is going to be a great day. I am working on getting some things done today even though I work. I am struggling with gaining weight but I am going through some stuff right now. So I could see why. They took me off one of my diuretic medications because it was causing me to feel like I was going to pass out when I stood up. My BP was getting down to 104/72 and that was not good. So now I am having all kinds of crazy weight gain. Even though I have been kind of exercising by taking the dog to the dog park and going outside and throwing a ball for her. Well actually a rock. She loves rocks so I throw a rock and she chases it. She is the weirdest dog I have ever had. Here is an updated photo of her.

    Chloe being silly.jpg

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Thank you. I did find out why they want to induce her. She is saying they are telling her she has a narrow pelvis so they are worried the baby is going to be too big because she is narrow. So that I can see causing an issue with delivery. Now I understand why. She is trying to go naturally if at all possible before hand. So we will see if she can get things moving.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday

    Tabatha

@Patti241 Hi Patti! WB. How are you? You were missed, but we know life gets crazy at times.
@Tabatha_Cain How did the day go? Awww Chloe has grown so much!! She should be great around the baby!! It makes sense on why they want to induce her, likely they'll see how the baby is doing, how she's doing if she wants to go naturally.

The film's popularity lends itself to four remakes. The first, a television adaptation, starred Kathleen Crowley and Conrad Nagel. Then in 1954, crooner Judy Garland and James Mason put on performances that many consider to be unstoppable. Some even suggest that Garland's performance is the best of her career. Then in 1976, Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson take up the challenge. Garland, Mason, Streisand, and Kristofferson all won Golden Globes for their performances. The most recent version of a Star is Born came out in 2018 starring Grammy winner Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The film won the Grammy for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.

@yakkystuff Awww TY TY TY TY I'd rather look at the opportunity than to feel bad. The more positive I am, the easier life is.
@macrat12 I am grateful for my enemies also (though very few) because they help me to grow by looking at myself. Is there something I need to change (Often it's how I handle the anger, not the anger itself at this point)? I do not like not being at peace with myself.
@Kurtize Joyce, I remember as a kid being fascinated by the Wright brothers, how many times they had to try this, try that, retry, and so forth before they could fly. It taught us not to give up. Our teacher was excellent with the class discussion. We all walked away from the lesson knowing it was valuable information for life. I think I was in the 3rd grade.

@gouldsgranite Awww, I WISH I saw this last night. Though I DO NOT watch Kimmel or any of the talk shows now (They used to be funny and entertaining), I would have watched it to see Tucker!! I am so happy you got to go and see him! So sorry, hon, to read about your friend/family member who passed away. As we age, it happens more and more, but it never gets any easier; sometimes it is just so hard. How did the training go today?
@macrat12 Oh, I AGREE!! It does seem like we just started the SPRING Challenge, and week 4 starts in only 2 days! YO!
@Kurtize Same with bullies of ANY age!! If we give them any attention, they do it more, but if we ignore them, they hate that so much, they slink off as the snakes they are. I hadn't had to deal with a bully myself in an eon of time, but I help others who do. I was surprised by an 84 year old friend the other day told me she was being bullied by another 80 plus year old. At what point so some GROW UP!!??? They do not.

    May 1st Celebrated History

    1840

The United Kingdom issued the world’s first adhesive postage stamp called the Penny Black. Sir Rowland Hill first proposed the idea back in 1837 as part of postal reform. At the time, the receiver bore the cost of postage upon delivery, and it could be costly depending on weight and the distance traveled. Fraud was also rampant. The Penny Black cost only a penny (as the name suggests) and the sender paid for the postage at the time of sending. The Penny Black featured a profile image of Queen Victoria. Soon, the idea of pre-paid postage spread around the world and across the pond to the United States.

    1884

Catcher Moses Fleetwood Walker makes his major league baseball debut with Toledo of the Association League against Louisville. He is one of the first African Americans to play in the major leagues and when he leaves the league several months later, is the last until Jackie Robinson signs with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947.

However, most of the stories surrounding her life are unverifiable. Later in her life, she would perform in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show in 1893 and in the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York.

    Anna Jarvis - 1864
