@baodell17724 Thank you for the greatlinks! Impressive rower wow it looks very high end. My biggestpurchase exercise-wise is about that size too I managed to get aprofessional recumbent bike at Sears that someone ordered and didn'tpick up for only $400. Right now my legs hurt too much to use itthough. Keep rowing just come up with some safety options!

@laurelfit57 The enchiladas were greatI recommend that recipe. Skinnytaste has a great chicken enchiladaone too think it's called The Best Chicken Enchiladas There was an error displaying this embed. If you like her enchilada sauce I strongly recommend doubling thebatch and freezing one for the next time you make them, I went to doit for the turkey ones and was out of tomato sauce so I'm stocked upnow for next time. Sounds like you got a lot of exercise in today!Great job on food as well wtg!

@alimalli86 The chat does move fasthere! One great tip I can offer is if you respond in a text documentand copy and paste it to MFP when you're done you're able to gothrough the responses and reply to each one a lot faster and you'reless likely to miss things.

@Cornanda Your book sounds good let usknow what you think of it!

@trooworld Thank you! Oh I love yousqueezing in a home workout wtg! Smart call to ask your surgeon aboutcreatine I didn't know stomach cramps happen from it.

@TeresaW2024 I won't need meds yet forosteopenia. I was hoping not to but now I'm thinking I need arebounder to strengthen my bones along with stepping up weightlifting. Would doing a Bible study help more with depth? Working forthe church definitely makes your situation more complicated I'm notsure what the answer is. What about an online Bible study or podcast? For the k cups this brand came up with a better K cup and you can buythem at Costco I believe, here's the info about it https://sfbaycoffee.com/pages/compostable-faqs I love the Rainforest and French Roast coffees. There may be areusable pod you can put coffee directly in. My Dad got me a singleserve Black-and-Decker and I use it a lot though right now I madecold brew and am going through that.

@DrewsAnna Hope PT goes well for you.Have fun at the baseball game! I hope you don't have dosage issues too.

Hi friends! I got a text last night that the farm wanted to offer me a produce box for free out of theones being purchased. I'm going to take them up on it, with needing to buy kitten food I wasn't going to get it so I'm very grateful. Ihad my allergy shot, dental cleaning, and pain clinic appointment before Noon then watered at the community garden and have beencleaning up my yard. This Saturday is my CRPS walk, I got the teeshirt from the group. Forgot I need to talk to the president again soI better give her a ring. My roommate's leaving in the next week, she's not working this week and it's nice to have her around. Herbirthday is later this month and I want to get something to gift herfor it. Have a great Thursday!

@trooworld @Katmary71 - the book is decent so far- I'd say it's a beachy romance with a bit of historical touches. I've seen Facebook reviews saying they were sobbing reading it, so we'll see what's still to come (might get deeper than beach read?!) I'll update when I'm done.

@Katmary71 - Bellevue did not sound like a good thing to read after back surgery…..😂

@TeresaW2024 Thank you! Good to know your experience with creatine. I'm waiting to hear back from my surgeon's office and will follow their advice since my stomach metabolizes things differently now. I hope the workout and all you had to do went well. Microplastics are scary and I don't know enough about them. Someday, I'll research that! I hope the lack of afternoon coffee helps with the snacking.

@baodell17724 That was a really good artilce on weight loss fluctations, thanks for posting it! Also, thanks for posting the creatine article, it was me that mentioned it!

@Katmary71 Thank you! Yes, I don't know if it was worse for me since my stomach is different than the average person, but it was painful! That's great that the farm is going to give you a free produce box. You'll have to tell us what you get in it! I hope you find the right gift for your roommate. Have a good day!

    @Cornanda Please do update us!

@Lislisa123 Congrats on that loss! WOO HOO!

Hi all. Being at work yesterday was a struggle: I just didn't feel like being there. I was distracted by my boredom and had to slog through. Traffic was miraculously light again so I decided to do another at-home workout. I've decided that if traffic is light, that is what I will do (a home workout). That will be my thing. Afterward, I ate leftovers. I left a message for the medical assistant at the surgeon's office yesterday about the creatine and stopped taking it until I hear back from her. I'm doing really well with water intake: I've drank 72 oz a day all this week!

    Tracked yesterday? Yes

@Katmary71 I’m not a fan of most women’s Bible studies because they focus too much on feelings and less on content. Currently, I’m getting my depth from Mike Winger, The Bible Thinker, who has a YouTube channel and podcast. He is excellent! I’m watching his series on Mark’s Gospel where he deep dives word for word in these hour-long videos. I just did video three, and I don’t think we are even out of chapter one yet! My jam has always been apologetics, and this guy knows his stuff. He also does a weekly show where he answers 10 questions that people write in. So interesting!! 😀 Thanks for the K-cup link. I have a reusable Keurig cup, but I have never used it. I need to start! ☺️How nice that the farm gave you a produce box. Is it plants or actual grown-up produce? Have fun on your CRPS walk. How many people are expected to be in the walk? I am sorry you are losing your roommate. You two seem to be well suited, and I really hope you can find someone else with whom you can bond. I can’t wait to see those kitties!! 😺

@trooworld What an excellent decision to work out at home if the traffic is light! I love how you are making your health such a priority! I remember when you barely drank a glass of water a day, let alone 72 oz! Way to be an inspiration to the rest of us! 😀

Good morning! Joe’s oncology nurse called yesterday to say that his bloodwork showed that his potassium was at a dangerously low level. It was low in the hospital, too, and they were giving him supplements, but I didn’t think it was still low after he came home because they didn’t give us an Rx. So, he has a prescription and must take the supplement for the next couple of weeks. It sure explains why he wasn’t getting better after coming home from the hospital, and has been so weak and tired. The only bright side is that I now have a good reason to tell my pastor why I’m not coming to church on Sunday and attending that potluck meeting. I was really dreading the ordeal of Joe and the potluck. 🤨 I made a big batch of curry chicken salad yesterday and will probably eat that again today since it was soooo good! Have a lovely day! 🙂

    Hi 👋

PT wasn't any fun, but the game was. Chipper and I walked only a little bit since my knee was already hurting. My grand babe is a good hitter. Here's a few pictures:

I'm so surprised I didn't take any of Chipper 😂😂😂

    Y'all have a great day 😀

Hello my peeps. Just a really quick check-in. I am doing good, but doing lots of stuff outside and it is hot. I'm feeling good, getting good walks in with the dogs in the morning, I even took Ty over to an competition this morning for a couple of hours. She went absolutely insane as she wanted to be doing agility as well and was screaming like a banshee!. Just got back from my granddaughter's soccer game, it is hot! I have been tracking my food, staying within my limits so far every day this week. It has finally cooled off enough to get my dogs out for a walk, I will try to check tomorrow.

@laurelfit57 How funny Ty was wanting to do agility too! This IS a hard time going to kid’s games and events. Enjoy the cool weather and give those adorable pups a good walk.

@DrewsAnna Hugs I’m glad the game was fun. Hope your knee feels better! Your grandbabe is adorable.

@TeresaW2024 I’m going to follow Mike Winger sounds like an interesting person! The produce box is grown veggies. There’s about 12 of us doing the walk, in all honestly most of us can barely walk so we’ll see how it goes. I’m relieved to hear Joe will be feeling better soon thank goodness!

@trooworld You’re doing awesome with those home workouts! Great job with water too!

@Cornanda I agree with you about Bellevue! It was more about psychological surgeries in the 50s, I’m glad I reread it as I didn’t remember the ending. Not the usual Robin Cook he usually writes about things that COULD happen and this one strayed into the paranormal. It was good glad I reread it.

Hi friends! Just got back from margaritas with the girls, I’m super tired! I started a bunch of lettuce at the greenhouse this morning, went to Grocery Outlet, then the community garden. I finished my book and went to meet friends for happy hour. One friend brought me a bunch of books her sister needed to get rid of, I’m looking forward to going through them and hopefully finding some treasures! I offered to take the rest to lending libraries. The Chinese food I made last night has my weight up 7lbs I think the only thing that beats that gain is post-flying! Have a great Friday friends.

    @baodell17724 Wow! Indeed!

@laurelfit57 Awww, Ty! I'm glad you are doing well. It's not hot here (yet) but I'm sure it's coming.

@Katmary71 Thank you! Margaritas with the girls sounds fun! That's cool you got a bunch of new books for free. Sorry about the temporary gain, that will come off next week, I bet.

@bobboyardee It's becoming a habit! Way to go!!!

Hi all. Yesterday, I found out that a friend of mine who used to work at my job had died on Monday. Although she was 78, it was still quite shocking as this person was full of life and always doing things. I just talked to her in April when she got back from Hawaii. I was in disbelief all day and not able to do any meaningful work. Traffic was light again last night, which is really unusual on a Thursday. I don't know if it is because school is out now or what. I thought about doing a weights-based workout but decided against it as I worked out Tues & Weds and I will work out tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Instead, I decided to take a longer walk with one of my dogs. Today, I will work from home and then go to the gym after work.

    Tracked yesterday? Yes

@Katmary71 I can’t wait to hear if you like Mike Winger! If you watch him on YouTube, you will have a chance to see his cute kitty! 🐱 Whoa, that Chinese food must have been a serious sodium bomb. Lots of water for the next few days! 😉

@trooworld I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. It’s such a shock to lose someone who was still so full of life. 😢 I think it is good how you are switching up your workouts. Congrats on another 2 lb loss this week! 🤩

Good morning! Not much going on today. I will do a workout, and my bestie is coming for coffee and bringing me some fresh eggs. I love it when her chickens are being productive! 😄 I had a good phone call yesterday with my pastor about Joe and the realities of what we are dealing with. Very few people know what goes into my care for Joe, but I think I gave him a better picture so he understands how hard it is and why we must stop attending church on Sundays when he isn’t feeling well. It was a good talk, and I’m thankful for an understanding boss. 🙂

@TeresaW2024 ive listened to Mike Winger quite a bit. Something you could try is typing in Christian Apologetics in whatever podcast streaming platform you use.
I’ve been going through UNASHAMED. They have life stories and then enter into bible study.

Another one you may like is Frank Turek, I Don’t Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist.
If want book by book chapter by chapter verse by verse study look into waylifetruth.org tap on teaching archive and you should see the whole Bible set up to listen to.

On YouTube look up Wes Huff. He just flat out knows his stuff.

@TeresaW2024 Thank you. It really is such a shock. My only consolation is that she didn't have a prolonged suffering and when she was alive, she lived life to the fullest. Thanks about my workouts and the weight loss. I hope you enjoy your workout and bestie time. Fresh eggs, how nice! I'm glad you were able to have that talk with the pastor. That must be a relief.

@baodell17724 I know how I should act and feel. I should forgive myself for overeating and move on to a healthy day. BUT...usually, I have feelings of guilt and shame. That doesn't help things. Sometimes, I get a case of the "F" its and just binge (this is pre-surgery, now I don't do this stuff). Are you asking this question because you overate yesterday or just curious?

    @askewcr Congrats on the loss!

@Katmary71 I hope the walk goes well and the roommate moving out does, too.

@alimalli86 Congrats on the loss! I hope you get your walk in.

Hi all. After work yesterday, we went to the gym. I was about midway through my workout when an exertion headache hit me hard. Ever had one of those? I have. It's really painful! It can be triggered by dehydration, intense exercise, bright light, or extreme heat. I had drank 48 oz of water before getting to the gym and another 24 while at the gym, so I don't know that it was dehydration that triggered it but maybe. I was working pretty hard, so my money is on the intense exercise. I stopped my workout and moved to a recumbent bike for the rest of the workout. We are going to the gym this morning, I sure hope I don't get another headache! I did my measurements yesterday: my chest has lost almost 6 inches, waist almost 11 inches, hips almost 8 inches!

    Tracked yesterday? Yes

@19shmoo69 I love the Roberstons, and Unashamed is a podcast I don’t listen to nearly enough, but should start. I follow them on TikTok and have seen many clips since Phil’s death. His life was such a testimony! Side note: Have you seen the new Duck Dynasty Revival yet? Hilarious!! 😆 I have heard of Frank Turek, but haven’t read his book. I love Wes Huff and follow him too! Have you seen him on the Flagrant Podcast? If not, you have to watch! I have bookmarked waylifetruth.org and will check it out! Thank you! I love finding someone who loves apologetics and expository teaching as much as I do! 😀

@trooworld I have heard of exertion headaches and am sorry you had to experience one. Hopefully, it won’t be a problem for you, so you can continue to push hard on your exercise. Wow, that is awesome on how many inches you have lost! I’m torn between jealousy and being inspired by you. Do you get a lot of comments on your weight loss and how great you are doing?

Good morning! We had another horrible thunderstorm in the middle of the night that put Maggie in bed with us and had me intensely praying for safety over my house. We are supposed to have storms all weekend. Yayy! 🙄 I lifted yesterday, so my lower half is sore. Joel Freeman from Bodi is starting a new program on June 10 that I’m excited to start. It will only be 25 minutes long, so I can add a rebounder program when I have enough time. I’m trying to get up from sitting and move around more. I read that doing 10 squats every hour is as good as doing a long walk. Worth a try! 😀

QUESTION: You wake up this morning, knowing you un/intentionally over-ate yesterday.

    1. How do you feel?

I used to feel - say, prior to 6 months ago - guilt and anger towards myself for not thinking and then eating junk/processed food. (Moreso, if the scale showed a larger increase than expected!) Now I just get annoyed with myself!😒

    1. What are your thoughts?

I try to "analyze" why I did overeat. For example, did I eat junk/processed food (bad) or overeat on healthy food (not the worst thing). Was it because someone gave me the junk food, and I thought I'd just have "a taste"? Or that I didn't have enough protein that day to stay filled? Or maybe I just didn't think about what I was doing, despite having all the signs (literally!) around telling me to "Stop! Think! Keep Your Mouth Closed!"😀

    1. What will you do?

I tend to be proactive in my response. While this is not for everyone, I will usually either do a 24-hour fast, or a 500-calorie fast, the next day, to get back on track mentally and feel better.🙂

QUESTION: You wake up this morning, knowing you un/intentionally over-ate yesterday.

    1. How do you feel? If I over-ate, it's generally intentional - and therefore planned in advance. Which means that I likely saved some calories over the course of the week and maybe even dropped my weight to the lower end of my range. Even if I overeat, I log everything as accurately as possible, even though I likely have to use estimates. Log it all, even when it's ugly. Log it on birthdays and holidays, graduations, celebrations, and funerals. So I generally feel like, that's done, it's in the past, move on.
    2. What are your thoughts? Tough to separate thoughts from feelings; my first thought is to go jump on the scale and assess the damage.
    3. What will you do? What to do is the easy part - get back on my normal program and log every bite. Log it all.
