Hi 👋
I'm having a little bit of me time for just a little bit. I'm loving moving at my own pace and listening to the music that I love.
Y'all have a great day 😀

WEIGH IN UPDATE
WEIGH INS DUE TODAY FROM @gemwolf110
Reminder To Weigh In Tomorrow To @sleepygirl79 @txcritter69 @laurelfit570 -
@Cornanda I’m glad your book is improving! I hope the rain helps nourish your garden. We’re in the 100s today I’m setting aside extra time to water tonight. Reading indoors definitely sounds perfect! How are you planning to change your attitude? It can be hard not to let everything get to us. I like your attitude about looking forward to that 20lb milestone you got this! I’m so glad you and @TeresaW2024 have each other to talk to about dementia issues and needs, I think you two can help each other a lot (I’m learning a lot from you both).
@trooworld Boy I’d trade ya some fresh basil for the soup that sounds delicious! I hope you had a good time at the gym. You all have me thinking of taking creatine, I’m sorry it caused a gain for you. We know you’re REALLY in the green! J OMG how in the WORLD did you get that photo of Daisy from ChatGPT?! It would be an awesome cartoon photo how disappointing. Love you making the gym part of your daily life you’ve done amazing fitting it in.
@TeresaW2024 I’m not a fan of long video s either I hope you love this program! I love the Maggie Mae photos especially the side profile how cute! I’m sorry to hear how close Joe is to getting in the last stage of dementia. You have some time before that appointment to get a lot of questions together. I don’t blame you for not wanting to think about it but you’re being smart starting now. I hope your great-nieces are super fun and giggly and get your mind off everything for a bit!
@vegan4lyfe2012 Oh no sorry to hear your sister is like the clinic owner, I think it’s even worse being a relation to you! Shoot I hope the rain stops for Byron and Brayden’s birthday party! Sounds like today will be one long day for you! Smart not to take a popcorn bucket to the movie I hope you love it and the snacks help you not miss the popcorn. Popcorn’s one of those things I REALLY love I always miss it! I’m curious how you plan to help your dopamine chasing I go through periods like that too.
@DrewsAnna I hope Chipper has fun at the store and the walk distracts him from the nail frustration. My cats hate nail trims (and no walking in and out they yowl in their carriers letting everyone in Petco know I’m the meanest cat mom in the world). What kind of meds do you give Chipper for the 4th? I didn’t even think of how things will be with 7 cats in the house yikes! Guess I’m staying home!
@micaroo4 I love the GPT photo wow! Your other cats are so beautiful.
@AustinRuadhain I actually am using a flora powder for the cat’s food that is made by Pro Plan, someone from the rescue group gave them to me and the cats really seem to like them. That’s good thinking having your husband walk with you while catching up. I hope you two go hiking as well. The soup sounds great!
@laurelfit57 I can’t wait to hear how the agility competition goes for you! I think it’s a great idea to do it, hopefully you’ll be less nervous the next time too. Hope you have a great time! I love the photos of the dogs I plan to try it soon.
@alimalli86 Definitely headed in the right direction hope you’re able to get to tracking!
@baodell17724 Great exercise hours!
Hi friends! I got up early then went to the farmstand to pick up a friend’s box for her and got some sunflowers and a zucchini as I wanted to make gluten free zucchini banana muffins. Came home and made those with dark chocolate chips and walnuts and they came out great. I got a prescription for myself then went to Petco to meet the rescue group and get more medicine and hung out there for awhile. I let the kittens run wild in the house for a bit earlier with the bedroom doors shut so they couldn’t go in mattresses, they had a blast and so did Jasper but one is so hard to catch! Finally Jasper chased her into a round donut toy and I carried it into the bedroom. Once they’re over 2lbs they can get spayed and neutered, I’m going to try and weigh them after dinner when it’s medicine time. I’m finding the two who are scared of me do a lot better if I stick around and engage them with toys, treats, or cuddles so I wanted to post before I go in so I don’t feel rushed. I have a few collages I’ll post too. Have a great Sunday everyone!

July challenge: Does anyone have an idea for a challenge or want to try something new for next month? I did my workout today with the PT exercise printouts by me and hadn't realized how much I was forgetting. I haven't been feeling great and definitely need to improve workouts. I also need to think on why I can't get on track with eating too, think I get mad at having to "be good" so I rebel. I'm trying to moderate this weekend so there's no "missing out" and see how it goes so I'm not quite sure what I want to do yet but you know I love challenges! Let's hear some ideas.

The two girls are on the lower right corner in collage 2, GraciBlu the dark gray cat has a black stripe on her spine that darkened in the last week, I thought I was imagining it at first. She tends to hide in corners but loves toys and treats and pets so she can be lured out but it takes work. She's usually a step behind the rest or outside the circle but if you bring out a toy or treat that tiny girl will shove you out of the way to get to it!
My orange buddy Grogan above collage 1 pic 1 is a little scared of me with the medicine but he's kind of laid back and if everyone is chasing a wand toy he goes and sits in the middle to be with everyone then gets run over by those playing which is adorable and silly. He was the first to run between my legs and run back to my room between my two cats who were ready for bed and went under my bed right after they came here, Asher managed to get him out as he sure wasn't coming to me! He was the first to purr with me and I call him Buddha as early on he relaxed and was happy in my arms.
Emma (named Gremma but I like Emma better) is the calico and is outgoing and my escape artist, she's not aggressive other than rushing the door (and not coming to me when she's escaped) and is the sweetest with the other cats especially GraciBlu my little gray girl. She's smart, friendly, fasniated by my cats and not intimidated, takes care of the shy ones, and can be rowdy with the wilder ones. Her nose is the cutest markings ever especially the actual nose being two different colors!
The beautiful blonde Griege (I call him blondie or Fabio because of that hair) is insanely soft, loves yowling at the door because he wants to be with me, pushes others out of the way to eat food or get a toy, rushes the door, and is super sweet and slow blinks at me all the time. The second day he was here he ran up my leg by putting his claws through my leggings and was up to my hip in the blink of an eye. He likes nipping and squats on the top of the fountain to drink and is always hungry and wants attention. He can be a little rough, aggressive, and nippy which isn't awful but I think the best thing I can do for him is to get him to be around my cats who can teach him not to do that. The rescue group thinks he'll go first with his unusual coloring and I agree as everyone who has come over focuses on him.
Last but not least is Graison the gray tabby who is the peacemaker of the group and is slightly shy but usually is in the mix with everyone. He loves to be held and he, Grogan, and Greige would be great cats for readers. When the blonde one came 4 days after the rest and was scared in the carrier he went and sat by it in the carrier not blocking the exit until he came out and is almost always in the middle of everyone being leaned on. If I kept one he's been my frontrunner as he's so sweet and gentle, he always runs up to me and meows to be pet. He and Emma would be great ones to go with another kitten or not be too threatening going in houses with more cats. They're both intrigued by my cats but aren't aggressive about it.

While not a diet/fitness topic, dementia is an issue that can affect those we love. My late father had 'dementia issue" as a result of his Parkinson's disease. No one wants to think about this (no pun intended), but it IS a health concern to become knowledgeable about… lots of great articles on this page…
