@stephanodda yep I get them all the time, it's the same guy in all the profile pictures but different names. It's very annoying.

Welcome back @mkksemail ! Do you dress up for Ren Faire? That's one of my favorite parts of going 😊 I hope your knees are OK!

@ashleycarole86 awesome job getting back into logging and having such an inspiring attitude!

@micki48 that butterfly is beautiful! Sorry to hear about your thigh, hoping it's not a serious injury and you recover quickly.

The last 2 days at work have been tough, I was really busy and I have some challenging cases. I also didn't have any clients who wanted to walk Wednesday or Thursday so I was sitting on my butt a LOT.

I did manage to go for a walk/do a workout video every day this week which is a big accomplishment for me. While I'm not getting a lot of steps compared to some others, I'm doing great for me.

I feel pretty good about my food choices and logging. I'm keeping my calories in check, always trying to get more vegetables in though. We splurged a little and had pizza tonight, I only ate what I needed to feel content instead of stuffing myself so I'm happy with that.

@MaddawgMadsen Those are some great NSV! Being stronger and skinnier is awesome. Good work on hitting the target weight for your workout class too!

@Gidgitgoescrzy I love your goals for August!

@micki48 I hope your leg is okay and you don't have any set backs.

Today was good for exercise and movement. I had a friend over for dinner and got lots of steps cleaning house. I hit my calorie goal for the day but my macros were totally off. Tomorrow is a new day! I did have potato chips and pie for the first time in forever. I was pleased to find they weren't that exciting! That was new. Have to say I was pretty happy about that.

Good morning, Teamies, Happy Saturday! We're off today for another 4-day weekend, back on Tuesday.

Jackie, no we didn't dress up, but man, it's fun looking at all the costumes! This was our first Ren Faire experience, it's been a blast. We bought 'season' tickets at Christmas time, for all 3 weekends of the Faire (and combined the final two weekends with mini getaways). Last weekend was glamping at Huttopia, this weekend is The Shire Hobbit House :-). You have had a successful July, Jackie, and it looks like you're continuing the same! Freggies are 'an area of opportunity ' for me as well ;-). So much so that I always tie my Hogwarts 'Unbreakable Vow' to it, during Hogwarts terms.

Conley, wtg, sounds like a great visit you had! Nice, on the functional steps - that's my favorite kind of exercise, getting it done while getting stuff done. Love shoveling now, for example! Heh. PS, what kind of pie? ;-)

Okay, I probably won't check in again until after I'm home, but I promise not to miss Thurs weigh day, Team! Cheers, ~ mk :)

    Happy Saturday all!

Took a couple days off checking in here… just had a rough couple days with work, I think I'll be keeping my eye open for something else.

Brad has cooked us some really nice meals the past few days. We also got a new dresser delivered - we downsized a lot when we moved and it's been hard to fully unpack so a few key furniture pieces we were missing are going to help.

    Step catchup:

7/29: 7423 (what???? less than 100 steps away from goal? NOOOO lol)
    7/30: 5336
    7/31: 5359
    8/1: 5194

We've been in a heat wave and I have been using that as a reason not to get out there. Oops! Need to turn that around today.

Hi everyone! Yesterday didn't go as planned but I made it work anyway. We stayed at the lake longer than expected. The original plan was to stay for the day and come home for dinner. We stayed at the lake for dinner which made me really low on protein for the day. When I finally got home I had a late night workout and protien shake. Today we're roller skating and then going out to pizza. I have today better planned for food so I shouldn't have any surprises!

8/2 steps to finish the week: 13096

Woo hoo! That has been like 2 to 3 times more than I've been doing daily lately, so I felt great about this. Brad and I went out and did an online scavenger hunt as our activity yesterday which is what added up to all that movement!

    Off on the boat today.
