@ashleycarole86 that view is gorgeous! And nice to live in walking distance of stores.

@Gidgitgoescrzy sorry to hear you don't like the lights and the stove wasn't working. We've had a lot of storms recently too! Got over 8 inches of rain sunday and wednesday.

Well I think I am coming down with something which is terrible timing. I went to bed at 7pm last night and woke up at 7am. Scratchy throat, achy 🫤 I am going to my parents in RI next week and to NH, so I hope I feel better by then.

Catch back up later. Lunch break is about over!

@ashleycarole86 whoa 40k?! That's super impressive! I hope you have a great time.

@mkksemail boooo insomnia, I've been dealing with that lately too. I hope you're able to get back on a good schedule soon.

@Kali225 & @lauren_989 I'm sorry you've not been feeling well, make sure to get lots of rest!

Sorry I've been absent the last couple of days, it's been hectic over here. The last few nights I've been feeling sooooo hungry right before bed. It's not just food cravings, it's like full on belly rumbling hunger 😖 I try to pick a healthy snack, though last night I mindlessly ate 2 servings of Cheerios. I've also been extra tired and lacking motivation, it's been rainy and humid which isn't helping.

On the plus side, I followed through with the meal plans I set for the week, and I did some adult-y things like getting a quote on car insurance with a different company that's going to save us $1500/year 🥳 I also got caught up on documentation at work, I'll be drowning again in a week or 2 but at least for now I can breathe lol.

I can't remember who it was but someone asked if anyone is able to upload pictures into MFP with their phones. I can some of the time, but not consistently. It seems like if it's a shorter post then I have better luck.

Alright I need to try to get some sleep now. This insomnia is a bugger.

ugh, Jackie/jguldi11, empathetic sympathy on the insomnia. I got to sleep at 3:40a last night. rgghhff! Gotta fix this by Monday, I have to be out of the house by 9:55a!

WTG, Michele/micki! That feels great, I bet. Stacking up the green, bing bing bing, all in a row! What kind of tracker did you get?

    ^5 on your wi, Veronica!

    Cheers, ~ mk :)

I tried to sleep in this morning, but when you're used to waking up at 7am, I was only able to "sleep in" until 7:30 😂 I had some hot tea this morning and then did a few small things around the house and sat in my recliner watching game shows.

Does anyone else like game shows? I watch a lot of them, but my favorite is the price is right.

@jguldi11 wow, that's a great savings on car insurance! I notice that I tend to get hungry later in the day if I don't eat breakfast or eat too little in the morning. It's interesting how my body is like that, but I would have a tough time doing intermittent fasting.

@micki48 wahoo! Another week in the green!

@ashleycarole86 I meant to respond earlier, I can usually upload pictures to here from my phone. How they will look when posted is another question (either too big or too small) 🤣

@lauren_989 I'm the same, I've tried intermittent fasting a couple of times and it was sooooo hard to stick to. I do much better both physically and mentally when spacing out my meals throughout the day. As for game shows I enjoy the classics (Price is Right, Match Game, Press Your Luck, Password), though usually the only one we watch anymore is Family Feud. My son is autistic and his special interest is numbers, so he gets really excited watching the board on Family Feud 😆 it has to be Steve Harvey though, he doesn't seem to enjoy the others hosts as much lol.

There have been several good weigh ins the last few days! Keep it up (or down, rather) everyone!

I went a little over with dinner, I should've logged before eating but I guessed and underestimated the calories in some things. Usually I can make a good guess but every once in a while I miscalculate. I completed a 30 minute workout video so that helped offset the excess calories.

I love the challenge for this week, gratitude is such a wonderful tool for improving mood and motivation.

@ashleycarole86 congrats on finishing the bike event!

@YinxFed sending well wishes and positive thoughts for you and your husband 🙏

@Kali225 I love bike shorts! They're so comfortable. Kudos for overcoming those negative thoughts, I bet you looked lovely in those shorts!

    @strong_fit_ells great weigh in!!

Sunday turned out better than it started. I woke up with a bad headache, possibly a migraine, that persisted most of the day. It wasn't completely debilitating so I was still able to get some things done but ended up needing to lie down for a couple of hours. Eventually I was able to function more and even managed to get a workout in. My daughter was copying my heavy breathing while I was working out, goof ball.

    Hi Happy Monday,

Hope everyone is feeling better by now.

I had a good weekend, no intentional exercise, but I put my kitchen away, and since hubby was working in there, I did not want to bring the boxes in there, and be in his way, so I did it one by one, lol. My house is pretty small, but on the same floor, everything is stored in the furthest room from the kitchen, so it was the most I could do. It felt nice using real dishes.

I did 30 minutes of pilates this morning, so I am happy about that. My weight seems to be going the wrong way though.
