So we do fit test on the 26th
or plyometrics?
I like to start at the same time with everyone.
I've been adding Insanity workout to my work out routine. I'm done with my weight lifting sched so I can
start do insanity full time now.
I'm planning on following the schedule starting with the fit test on the 26th, Plyo on the 27th... having my rest days on Sunday! I'm getting pretty jacked to get back into it...0 -
Hey! I just found this group, but I actually started on 12/19... I am going to post my fit test results later (they are at home... I am currently at work, procrastinating..)

We started the same time! I just finished the Pure Cardio this AM...kicked my butt! But ready to face the day now!0 -
I got tired just from watching max interval plyo video. I think I'm going to either puke or pass out when I start to do that work out.0

I love doing this work out. I always feel like I'm going to die when this workout is over with... but it's an awesome feeling!0 -

Fit test done! Pretty testing to say the least and I can see why people say it's tough on the knees. Interested to see what awaits me tomorrow - think I'll take a sneaky peak at the plyo worker before I go to sleep.

Yes, definitely tough on the knees! I actually felt a pain on the top of my right knee during my Power Jumps, something I didn;t experience last round. I was definitely favoring it during the rest of the minute. My wofe was counting for me, and she said that I was planting my feet too hard when I was landing... not giving myself much cusion, so I uess that's something I need to work on!0

UGH! I missed the start date by a day lol...I'm running straight home to do my fit test! It's been a while since I've done it unfortunately (I'm gonna hafta dust off the box)...Wish me luck!!! I'm AnJeanette by the way :glasses:0

Plyo = SWEAT! Then again I suppose that applies to the entire programme0

Tip #1,..never do Plyo Circuit right after dinner...lol0

HEY EVERYONE!
I'm so glad I found this group because I got Insanity for Christmas and started monday too! I had done the Pure Cardio workout with a roommate about a year ago and decided to try the whole shebang.
My name is Emily Mortensen, I'm 21, work full time at Walgreens (blech), and part time at Papa Murphys in Boise, ID. I ran xc and track in high school and have since stopped working out completely and reached the heaviest I've ever been at 185. I'm 5'4 and just glad I'm getting back on the horse now before I gain any more.
So far I've already lost three pounds and gotten WAY more flexible. I LOVE IT>

I will be starting the first round on the 2nd of january im super excited :-) . Will be using the Polar FT7 ....
i would like to get lean muscle should i take protein shake or something ?
