Anyone seeing a good movie this weekend, either in the theaters, cable or renting?
Please share.
I might see that new Devil Inside movie since Horror movies rock my world.

Hope they're on sale because they can get a bit pricey.

I have an idea of the ones I want. They are a little pricey, but worth it! And... I may even get the Jillian Michaels Ultimate Body Shop! After all, it is my birthday in Feb. LOL0

I am hoping to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D. Tease me, go ahead. But I am very excited! Hopefully they won't add any scenes.0

Three of my favorites:
Finding Nemo
Meet the Robinsons
Toy Story (all three are classics in my book)
So there, I have no room to criticize your kiddie choice of BATB - have fun seeing it!

I have a 6 year old so I can go to all of them, and no one questions me. They don't have to know that I am going to enjoy it just as much as he is! One of my favorites "How to train your dragon".0

I watched When You're Strange.. it was a great documentary on The Doors.
I'm going to be look watching a few other documentaries as well tomorrow.
I'm to cheap to go to a theater for anything else.0 -
What about Wall-e and Up? Animated movies can be so great sometimes!0

LOVE that movie!!!! Let me know how it is if you go see it.
I'm not big on movies so not planning on watching any this weekend. The only tv I watch (besides news & documentaries) is "Once Upon a Time" on Sunday evening; love it!0 -

Did you see the original "GWDT" - the Swedish version? That was pretty good, in my opinion.
I'm usually a stickler for the originals, so it's difficult for my friends to drag me to see the remakes.0 -
I got a copy of Batman:Arkham Asylum (PC version of the game) and plan to play it through this weekend
With the graphics available to them, and the terrific plots and awesome voice acting (I love Mark Hamill's portrayals of the Joker) It's pretty much an interactive movie0 -
Just cheesy B-movies.0

I am seeing Beauty and the Beast this weekend in theatres. Its an oldie but a goodie^^. My friends and I are going all dressed up so we can have fun when we go and take pictures too!0

Hi Katie,
If you do see The Devil Inside, let us know what you think, I love horror/sci fi flicks and heard this one scares the pants off you- even for the die-hards.
I saw the foreign flick of the Lady with the Dragon Tatoo, but didn't see the American version, the foreign flick was excellent! Would like to see the American version.0 -
Just talking to Kathy via email, thought I would ask the question to everyone...
I'm a major horror movie buff and have seen just about every horror movie available, even the bad ones (human centipede was just disturbing and disgusting on many levels, two hours I can't take back.)
Having mentioned my favorite sub-genre, possession movies... I wonder what exactly they could do differently in this movie, Devil Inside, that hasn't already been done in the Exorcist and all the other movies following suit.
Any thoughts horror movie fans?
And what in all the different horror movies out there, did you find refreshing?
Would love movie suggestions that I might have missed somehow.

I went to see Sherlock Holmes (loved it!) and Tintin (also loved it)
The Hobbit preview came on in the theatre and I swear my fiance was gonna have a nerd-gasm right there lol0 -

Yeah I've seen the original Swedish version and loved it. I've also read all the books.0 -
Doing the free step on Wii Fit today to Austin Powers I think. I haven't seen it in a long time and it always makes me laugh. I should watch "How to Train Your Dragon" at some point since I have to do some voice acting work for an upcoming convention, but I'm procrastinating .0

We went out on a double date this weekend and saw Contraband. Good movie and I am happy to report - I didn't have any popcorn0

Hey guys -
Wanted to share this with the group, too. I love Harry Potter, the entire series.
This clip is touching, for my fellow potterhead fans.

I am a total nerd, and cartoon collector! I have Beauty and the Beast 3D, just got it on Blu*ray (figured it was cheaper than paying 17.95 per person to see it on the big screen), and I just got Lion King 3D for the same reason. I collect Blu*ray and DVDs. This weekend my son and I are likely to nerd out and watch HP movies or LOTR.

Do you guys really think the Blue-Ray is worth the extra money?
I refuse to buy films, like Pixar movies, in blue-ray because they're cartoon like - save for the live action movies with real people in them.
Now, the prices are starting to come down now some with blue-ray (Walmart's has a good sale in our area - $8/per title) but I have a few friends who have rooms full of dvd's and it would take a monstrous sum of money to convert them all.
Opinions for/against BLUE-RAY vs regular DVD....0 -
I wasn't interested in blu*ray when my husband first bought our first blu*ray player....however then I watched Transformers (one of my favorite movies) on blu*ray and wow such a HUGE difference. Actually I do have lots of pixar stuff in blu*ray too and there is a difference between the dvd and blu*ray. Now my husband came home this year with a 3D blu*ray player and 3D TV. This after watching movies and cartoons in 3D blu*ray....cartoons are okay in 3D but...movies not so much. So while I would recommend Blu*ray especially with the lower costs, I wouldn't recommend 3D yet. Just my 2 cents.

My husband and I watched Warrior. I'm into boxing/fighting movies :blushing: so I enjoyed it0

My parents have the 3D big screen but I can't get into it. Guess it's just too new and fandangled for me (old fashioned girl). I don't like wearing the glasses either.
We have something like five blue-ray movies (one of them being The Blind Side - one of my favorite movies) but can't watch them at home because I haven't made the big decision yet. Buy the blue-ray player or go-whole-hog and get an XBox, which my friends keep trying to convince me to get.
"Its just a little more and you get to play all those games and the kinect, too..."
Just can't decide...0 -

Do you like Enter the Dragon? One of my husband's favorites of all time...
Reminds me of Office Space and the "kung fu" moment...0
