well i started 4 weeks ago and things are going great.....its just that i need to find a way to stay MOTIVATED!....this is really hard for me0

I did day 4 today and it was cardio recovery... Kind of boring and I really don't feel like I burned enough or even got a workout so i might do something else tonight! My hubby can already tell a difference in my stomach... But I think it might be because I have been doing it a couple times a week for over 3 months now lol... But it wasn't until this week that I can actually see results!! I can't wait for day 60!!!0

Hey everyone I'm doing the whole program 2nd time done it last summer sadly said snoozes over the winter but loving it. If you can do it in the morning A) you more motivated than in evening and you feel.great during the day. Also have a protein drink or glass of milk right after helps against being sore. Hang in there and believe Mr all the sweat pays of. Take a pic every week and you will see your progress :0)0

Haha believe me eventually you look forward for the "recovery day" and the one week recovery you will need for the following 4 weeks ( the kick a..). Or maye it was just because I wasn't used to this kind of sport, but it made me feel better hearing the people in the video suffer too :sick:0 -
Yeah I have to do pure cardio today, day 9. And I feel so weak from yesterdays workout plus 2 nights ago I only got 4 hours of sleep and didn't eat much but last night I got 8 hours so I'm hoping I can get it done today! Anyone else dread the pure cardio day?!0

Today is my first day. I have watched the commercials and watched the fit test but today my husband and i both start. I admit I am scared and excited at the same time. Is going to be a VERY long day. Only got 3 hours of sleep and am up SUPER early for me for a job interview before going to work. Then a 6 hour shift as a food runner (that is EXHAUSTING, should burn 3000 calories for the day just with regular activity and work combined according to my bodymedia) but after work we I will drink my 5 hour energy and do the fit test. Been doing some yoga the last week to loosen up and prepare. And Hopefully if this interview goes well and I make it thru the other 4 interviews I will have to dance in a bikini for the audition in a few weeks so hopefully I see some fairly quick results from the insanity. (not expecting miraculous right off but any change would be good) lol anyone else doing the shakeology shakes also?0

My hubby and I are starting Insanity on Wednesday! I can't wait. Question...we're planning on doing this first thing in the morning in our living room. We have carpet in our living room. Will this be difficult to do on carpet?

I just finished week 4 and did day 1 of my recovery week today. I am kind of scared of what is to come up in the 2nd month but excited to get it started at the same time.0

Got off work, shampooed the carpets in my bedroom and now getting ready to do my insanity fit test. Am hoping to hit 3000 calorie burn for the day. I have to admit I am a little nervous that this work out is going to really really kick my but. Will let you know0

Whoa... Loving all the "insane" people!!! I'm on day 10 today and definitely think I can see/ feel a difference in my body and endurance! How are all of you ladies doing with it?! Trish...How did the fit test go?! I'm dreading having to do it again next week
And no I'm not eating as much as I should... My daily goal is 1500 and with exercise it goes up to around 2000... But on a normal day I only get in about 1200 I wonder how that is affecting my workouts...0 -

oh no you should be eating more my dear. At least eating the nett of your bmr, you should search the forum about why it's important to never go below your bmr, there are plenty of threads on that.

Yeah I try to get in as much as I can but it's so hard to find time to eat with my crazy kids!!! I am going to the grocery store and buying a bunch of quick healthy snacks today!!! Thanks for the thread info!0

didnt hit my 3000 calorie burn for the day instead hit 2890 which is pretty close. Today is day two, then I go to work so maybe I will hit 3000? My bodymedia said I only burned 150 doing my fit test yesterday was a little disapointed BUT i was tired and it was late and it was after work. Hence since it is a dinner shift tonight my husband and I are doing day two before work. While I still hav energy. And the night before I had gotten very little sleep but last night I slept till I was ready to wake up so expecting much better results this time0

day two of insanity cardio pylometric was a semi fail as I didnt finish since I ran out of time and had to keep stoping to help the kids with homework and I admit my endurance was not up to it and not I need to get ready for work. But I still burned more calories then the fit test last night according to my bodymedia and I hit 9 mins of vigorous activity. I will just make it up by doing it on sunday instead of taking a day of rest. Or would that be a bad idea?0

@ sister38, if you get you a cal count watch and leave it on all day its quit interesting how much you burn during the day heck even sleeping lol.
After missing all last week (week 3) due to sprained ankle i went back into it yesterday since i start Monday so Sunday is my rest day haha. But I used for the first time my watch and by bein 5 foot 4 and 125 lbs I burned 468 calories with Cardio Power &Resistance and I can't see me eating 1200 + the once I burn for workout this is nuts haha.
How is the rest of you doing so far?0 -

Yeah I'm planning to get one soon but as for now I just treat it as 500 burnt during insanity which I hope is close to my actual burn since I try to pace myself with certain cast members and push myself till I'm half dead lol.0 -

trish, i am not an expert but i believe the day rest is for your own good lol maybe you can do it in the evening or when your kids are in bed unless you work nights. But unless you do this every day i don't think this one time will hurt :flowerforyou:0 -
I was so sore yesterday and today that I couldnt work out so tomorrow I am going to do the fit test again and just do that for the next few days to work up and then start over again on monday. If i had started this right after 30 day shred I would be ok but I got bronchitis for a month and then spasmed my back out and basically you can really get out of shape in only 4 months0
