    5mi May 5th
    Half marathon June 23rd,
    5K mud run September 22nd
    10K October 2nd

I'd like to do more, but I'm a bit strapped with school, so that's all I have time for. But I'm totally looking forward to every one of them. Especially the 5mi. I get a complimentary cowbell. Who doesn't love those?

Hi, all! Just joined this group and amazed and happy to see so many runners in here!

    Upcoming:
    April 21, half marathon
    April 29, Big Sur marathon
    July 15, 1/2 Ironman (yeeeeeeps)

I have other races in there, too, but don't have my calendar handy. I'm a Half Fanatic, so most of my races are half marathons--I try to do at least one a month. Any other HFs in here?

I am running the San Diego Rock-n-Roll half marathon June 3rd. It will be my first half marathon and I will be running with my mom. She has recently lost a bunch of weight and I am so proud to support her health goals.

Never thought I'd actually enjoy running but alot has changed...

Plan on doing the following during May (First events I've ever registered for)
    Mothers Day Classic - 8km on 13/05
    Joondalup Event - 10km on 20/05
    HBF Fun Run - 14km on 27/05

Was originally just supposed ot be the 14km HBF but figured the other two are a good lead up to it :-)

You friends here have been a great encouragement over these last 20 weeks of training and now I think I am ready. Headed to Louisville today for the Marathon this Saturday.

    My goals are:
    1. Have fun
    2. Do my best
    3. Finish the race.

I was told to not have a finish goal time but I would like to finish in under 5 hrs

Hey! Another runner local to me - looks like we're running all different races though in the coming months. I did the Slainte 5K as well as the ATB. Running a 1/2 Marathon tomorrow, as well. If you're interested in a GREAT race early June, there's a 10K June 5th run by Ancaster Mill - awesome food, well organized, overall a great run.

Very tempted by the MIdsummernight Toronto 15K/30K, but already have races booked for most of the other dates you have posted. This is the first time I've seen a runner post about the Hamilton 1/2 Marathon - have you run it before? I'd love to hear your input/reviews on some local races you've done in the past. Always great to hear from other runners :) Thanks in advance!

Hey meagalayne! Great to hear from you.

I haven't done the Hamilton half before, but I hear it's a great race. About 8km of it is downhill (down Red Hill Parkway) and it's supposed to be super fun. I did the Scotiabank Waterfront half last fall so I thought it would be fun to try something new.

I'm actually thinking of skipping the Gravenhurst duathlon (not enough time to train on the bike) and will add in another run or two. I'm considering the Dirty Dash in Waterloo or maybe some other type of trail run. I'd love to get into Ultras / off road next year.
