Good evening. Got my computer repaired so up and running again.

I am ending my day with a more carbs than I had planned but that is ok. I did not binge eat or eat out of boredom.

My gross carbs is 127 and my net carbs is 101.

    How's everyone else doing?

My dessert was Banana puding. Made wih SF banana cream pudding and mini nilla wafers 2 T cool whip I used to buy a small containers of Walmart deli Banana pudding and thought it was so good and realize after about the third time it did not have any banana in it. so I thought I could make the SF banana pudding and used the mini nilla wafers in it with some cool whip on it. My name is Sondra. Well I have been fighting the same 3 pounds off and then on again with out changing anything much so I am looking forward to the challenge. More exercise and less carbs. I have about 15 pounds to go total. I would be happy to lose 6 in the next six weeks. Just need to find my Atkins book for the meal plans.

Hi Everyone.. thanks for the invite.. My name is Sandi and I have been overweight for 15 years now.. I have fought it every step of the way and have not won yet.. I am hoping that I can do it this year and get to my goal weight by next summer.. sooner is better. I have a plan that once I get to my goal I plan to buy my dream bike .. and take a trip with my friend who already bought herself a bike this year.. Anyway I am ready to ATTACK this with All GUNS a BLAZING!!.. LOL
The diet Plan I have chosen to start and get things rolling ASAP is the DUKAN Plan and I am starting with the ATTCK Phase this morning ... All Protein..No Carbs... I also want to get into some kind of routine with the exercise.. I will be seeing you and hopefully you will be seeing less of me... : - )

Hey ladies, I apologize for all the confusion as I learn how to maneuver around this site.

I opened a new thread in the discussion for us to post in as it is a bit confusing to all us newbies to post in the introduction section sooo if you will bare with me, please start using the 6 week challenge thread to post daily in and if you want to add a thread for discussions, please feel free to do so.

    Again, sorry for the confusion.

    Hope the new thread helps.....

Hi, I'm in the UK where we speak a different version of the same language, have different measurements and food labelling that doesn't include fiber in the carbohydrates.

I'm 51 and a guy, and that isn't me in the picture. He was a volunteer in the Minnesota starvation experiment who was fed 1585 calories a day with 69.4% from carbs, poor man.

I am aiming to get to 168 lbs by the end of June. Currently about 174 down from 200 at New Year. 5'-10".

I'm an Atkins follower by and large and eat less than 30g of carbohydrate per day (that's "net carbs in American)

Welcome Yarwell! That poor man in the picture - I honestly thought he was maybe a holocaust camp survivor, he looks so darn painfully thin....

Best of luck in your LC journey!

Welcome, Yarwell. I am so glad that is not you in that picture! :) I'm working on lowering my carbs so i'm not maintaining, but losing (slowly). Currently I'm at around 50-75 net carbs/day. I may need to change it to 30-50, but want to see if this works first.

    Good luck on your journey!

    Yarwell, WELCOME to the group.
I am like Res, I thought the pic was of a holocuast survivor too.

I think everyone here is watching carbs in one fashion or another.

Yarwell, I posted another thread in the discussion area and working toward getting all of us posting there sooo come on down and join us.
