I'm starting tonight, and I'm kind of scared! Lol!! But hey, I can do this, right?? I just need to keep telling myself that. :)

You can do it! It will get easier the more you do it! Don't worry if you have to stop a few times, catch your breath then get back to it!!

Survived day 1, didn't have to modify much. Feeling good i got up at 5:30 to work out-that is the battle for me!

Looking forward to results similar to what i had last time-i lost 7 inches in the 30 days. Woiuld love to do that again!

Will do measurements tonight :) first day down all!

Glad to have found this group! I did my first two days last week, then didn't do it over the weekend. SO...I'm just going to call this Day 1 and commit to getting all 30 days done this month. I tried it a few months ago and almost died! Couldn't move very well at all the day after. This go around seems to be a bit better...still very much so a killer, but I'm hoping and praying to see results. Day 1...Level 1...DONE. :)

So I am just about to do my 2nd day of ripped in 30 and I wanted to let you know that the workout recomendations on the dvd are to progress through the levels at your own pace (there are 4 in this one) and to workout 5-6 days a week. I plan to do cardio on the off day, will shoot for either 5 or 6 days of Jillian! That should be plenty!! lol
See you all on the flip side- sweaty and out of breath!

Anxious to see how you like Ripped in 30, as that will be my next purchase after I'm able to commit to the 30 Day Shred. :)

Just finished day 2. Very hard, but still easier than yesterday. I did measure and take pictures so I cant wait to see mine and everyone elses results. I walked 30 min yesterday after doing day one, but I didnt today. Did a lot of walking this morning while turkey hunting, but forgot to wear my HRM :-/ looking forward to day 3 :)

I am so jealous! I think I am going to try level 1 again tomorrow without the jumping jacks, subbing in another cardio interval. Took a 25 minute power walk to and the knee is no worse for wear and back of knee is not hurting. I have to try. I really have missed it and I did 5 days lol!

Great job to you all. I can't wait till we burn up these message boards with all of our awesome pics at the end of the month.

Hi Everyone! I started last night so tonight will be D2L1 for me after the kiddos are in bed. I actually started the shred Mar 9 and did it for 16 days but I have a compacted disc in my back and it was really bad so I had to stop for a bit. But I'm back and so excited! I had AMAZING results from the 16 days I did it before. Crossing my fingers my back pains won't come back. Definitely take before pics bc you will be in shock at the difference in your body! Good Luck!

I started off with 10lbs yesterday. Big Mistake! Moving onto 5lbs and then hopefully get up to 8 lbs. Arms are still hurting and Day 2 begins in one hour. Wish me luck!

Hi everyone! Finished Day 1 level 1 today. Shoulders burn and legs are on fire! I couldnt do all the reps but hopefully as the days go on, Ill be able to keep up.
  • Just finished day 1 level 1.. Brutal!! I wasn't too bad off, until we had to do the crunches with the bicycle thing going on..that killed for some reason.. the other exercises I had done before so I was somewhat used to it, just not the intensity with the weights. looking forward to month end.. Good luck!! :)

Don't get discouraged. It gets easier as you go. Just think of how you will look at the end of the 30 days. You Can Do It!!!

Good Morning fellow shredders. I got up at 5am to get my workout in today. So it is day 2 level 1 for me. My shoulders are the only part of me that is screaming today. Otherwise I am doing pretty well. Still doing half modified on the push ups. My arms and stomach muscles are the weakest part of my body and need the most help. Hope everyone has a great day!

    Good morning Fellow Shredders,

Finished Day 2 Level 1 last night. Really feeling it in my biceps and obliques this morning. The bicycle crunches though tough to get right is hurting this morning as I tried to get out of bed and out of the car.
Took my before pictures and can't wait till the end. Have a fun day. Getting ready for cardio at the gym today and then Day 3 tonight!

    Done w/ my Day 2.

Questions for those who has done 30DS before and is in good/great shape: when do you move to Level 2?

I don't find Level 1 easy, but even using 7.5# dumbbells, I don't feel sore at all.
I read about other people's posts about feeling it in their quads or shoulders etc, but I don't feel any, especially not any good soreness.

--> When should I move to Level 2?

I thought to stick w/ Level 1 for at least 7 days to make sure that I can do it every day, instead of dreading the workout which may persuade me to not do the workout.

    Thanks for your insight.

Just wanted to check in with everyone. I am still on level 1 this is day 4 for me. Not as sore today and my endurance has improved. Still hate those dang pushups. I did 7 non modified ones on each set. Someday I am going to be able to do them all without modification. Now I am going to hit the elliptical for a 2 mile run.

I completed day 5 this morning. I still struggle with the modified push ups. My arm strength is not good...but I can tell I'm getting stronger each day. My endurance has definitely improved! So excited to see the results at 30 days. :)

Day 6 of 30 complete. I got a head start the end of April! Progressed onto level 2 today. Not as bad as what I anticipated. Going to get up early and hit it again in the morning. Have to be at the ball field by 8:15 for a 9am game so I will do the video, get ready, then while my son warms up with dad and the team I will hit the walking trail for another couple miles of walking.

Great job everyone! I can't wait to take measurements and pictures...wait...did I just say that lol?
