Capello's Grain Free Pasta

Anyone tried this? I'm curious, but it's pricey, so I figured I'd ask around beforehand.

    Totally waste of $$. You could make a pasta from a cumber. My wife did that and it was soooo goood! Just shedder the cumber and boil it.

    You could getspaghetti squash for much cheaper.

    I really don't like spaghetti squash-- it's a huge texture issue for me. Also, I don't think cucumber would hold up well in a cooked pasta dish (and the texture's kind of gross too).

    check out www.againstallgrain.com, she makes a grain free pasta I think. I haven't tried it yet but it doesn't seem to hard.

    That was what I found that she used in lasagna. Otherwise, she used squash/zucchini. I may try these at some point-- texture is just such a big thing for me :)

    Do you like Gnocchi, if so try Sweet potato Gnocchi.

    1 pound sweet potatoes
    1 1/4 cups almond
    1 Egg
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    spice to taste
