Nursechery well done for accepting and changing (I know thats also another forum also).
Today I'm grateful for:
1. Not getting impatient with my Mother when I met up with her.
2. Not allowing hers or my step-fathers negativity about 'life', bring me down, or allowing their mood to become my mood.
3. 3 clients booked in today.
4. To have quiet time also today, to read OA and pray to my HP.
5. To miss the flash flood we just had in our area. The UK is flooding dreadfully at the moment. I heard on the radio that our area was experiencing flash flooding, and vehicles breaking down because the drains couldn't cope with the excess water. When I returned home the roads were relatively ok.0 -

1. My husband sending me a loving text on his way to work. (I really feel like I'm neglecting him at the moment due to busyiness, I pray to change this).
2. A quiet house for 2 hours before my first client.
3. The sun shining (albeit for a few hours, then forecast more rain!)
4. Financial security (for today).

1. After multiple meetings at work I got the area I wanted and more.
2. having a great job in this market
3. my sister, she called me last night and my phone didn't ring so i didn't find out until this morning. I'll call her after work today.
4. my washing machine and dryer, i always seem to have something that needs to be washed at the last minute
5. that it has been a little less humid and hot last couple days0 -
1. having food in the fridge that's on my plan, healthy and easy to prep
2. being home and having a home
3. feeling full but not stuffed
4. the steps and the tools: they free me from compulsive eating

1. That we got our electricity back on by 1am this morning
2. That the house didn't get too hot
3. That my mom lives right across the yard from me so i was able to check on her easily. Same with my son who lives within walking distance from me. The electricity went out for blocks and we all lost it last night. Nice to be reminded of my gratefulness for electricity and the other utilities. And having the willingness to let God choose the results without worrying.
4. That I was able to use the 12 steps to help me with a particular situation, see the truth and work on fixing the part of the problem I can fix, me.
5. Having the steps to work on my relationship with my higher power0 -
1. That I got my hair cut yesterday
2. I got to spend time with my son yesterday

5. That when I'm feeling a bad feeling, like sad, it doesn't stay very long.0 -
1. To have a free evening to relax and have a long soak.

3. Time to look round the shops leisurely this afternoon, and not racing around like I usually have to.

2. I love love love the territory i ended up with at work.

1. my dog had a seizure tonight and he is all right now (it was pretty scary)

How frightening for your dog and you, glad alls ok.
1. Having a day off, its 29 degrees and I'm off for lunch at the sailing club sitting by the river.
2. Although work has gone quiet, I know its HPs doing and trust all will be ok.
3. My husband has now filled the foundations with concrete and we can start building the extension as of tomorrow!:happy:
4. Having great girlfriends I can have a laugh with.
5. Have enough money to last to the end of the month when its pay day again0 -
1. Grateful for air conditioning.
2. Grateful that I have remembered to surrender for two days in a row,
3. Grateful that I resisted temptation last night for a snack.
4. Grateful for my treadmill.

Today:
--I am grateful that I have 2 jobs that I enjoy, and which leave me lots of free time in my schedule.
--I am grateful that I am traveling Nevada in 2 weeks for an event I've wanted to attend for YEARS!
--I am grateful that I am abstinent from overeating and trigger foods, and that this abstinence is taking weight off my body.
--I am grateful that, for today, I am doing my best to be honest with myself and others.
--I am grateful for my talents and interests that keep my busy and make life interesting.0 -
ok i have to write something in this post because i feel like crap today
1. the weather is nice
2. i have a job and working right now
3. my hair looks kind of nice today
4. i had a good night sleep last night

1) That i didnt get the job i just applied for and therefore have more time to exercise.
2) That I have such a wonderful, sweet nurturing hubby who loves me thick or thin

grateful for.. 7 days down no overeating.. grateful for God helping my fight this flesh grateful I woke up this morning to a new sunrise.. grateful for my chruch family.. grateful for my family0

Today I am grateful for:
1. Abstinence so far - its 6.20 pm and I feel satisfied with my last meal and not overeaten.
2. Courage to stop calorie counting - just for today - and enjoying the freedom that comes with that.
3. Doing a job I love and making good money.
4 . Being asked to help out at a Clinic on Friday and be paid well for doing it.
5. The willingness to go to any lengths to keep abstinent between now and bedtime.0 -
Today I'm grateful for:
1. Staying abstinent today.
2. Having an amazingly easy time with chemo; no nausea so far!
3. OA podcasts.
4. Walking into an OA meeting 16 months ago; my program is FAR from perfect but I'm in a MUCH better place physically, emptionally, and spiritually to deal with breast cancer than I was 16 months ago.
