Vitaflow and IV nutrient therapy
It has been 1 year 7 months since my gastric sleeve. Nutritionist counseling prior to surgery was beneficial as it is important to know what to eat and which supplements to take. I get bloodwork done on a quarterly basis to check my vitamin levels. For me, I find it beneficial to go in a couple times a month via a…
When FOODS go WRONG......
11 months out and I am learning that certain foods will NEVER be tolerated. These doctors give you guidelines and nutritionists talk about portions and phasing. It’s what you have to learn on your own (as each of us is different) that can put you through hell via trial and error. I made a huge mistake eating a cup of…

Robotic Sleeve Gasterectomy?
I got to take a look at the da Vinci robotic assisted surgical device that surgeons use to view 3D for enhanced vision and wristed instruments that bend and rotate greater than a human hand. Are you considering this robotic assisted technique? You can check it out on YouTube.
Drinking alcohol after bariatric surgery
OBESITY IS OFTEN AN OUTWARD SYMPTOM OF SOMETHING DEEPER; WHEN PAIRED WITH ALCOHOL BEING ABSORBED AT NEARLY FULL PROOF YOU’VE GOT AN OMINOUS COMBINATION OF CIRCUMSTANCES. Another, "Should I do it?" Post
Hi all! I have a consultation appointment tomorrow. Been doing lots of research. Talked to a few friends who have had surgery. I felt for sure that I was committed to making the leap. But now I am not too sure. Does anyone regret having surgery and if so, why? I LOVE food. Love to eat. I am so worried I won't be able to…
