And it begins!
Greetings, I was always a runner until I tore my Achilles two years ago and now I've decided to start back with this program. I completed Day 3 and look forward to your discussion over the next eight weeks or so. Good luck to each and every one of you!
just finished week 5
I can't believe I made it this far!
W2D1 complete
Got a late start this morning, but a great beginning to week 2. I thought it was going to be too easy when I started, but by the last run portion I knew better! Looking forward to Wednesday!
A little bit about you :)
Hi! I'm a 31 year old grad student re-starting her workout routine. I discovered my love for running 6 years ago and then discovered c25k. Currently, I am aiming to lose 35-40 lbs, because I've been slacking of...but no more!! I have always enjoyed working out to this program, but I've never managed to finish it :( .…
Week 1 Day 1: I did it!
It nearly killed me but I DID IT! 2 miles. :) I need to find a part of my neighborhood that is more flat. I don't mind smaller inclines but running up and down big hills on the very first day is not a good idea. I don't want to injure myself and never get to week 2.
Which app are you using?
I downloaded the free app. For the workout itself, it worked fine. But when I tried to post to FB, it had a fit. And I didn't see any way to sync it to MFP. Although it might be because I was light headed after actually making it through Day 1. :) Is the paid app better?
Just completed Week 4
Just done W4D3 went really well thank goodness! The first two were REALLY tough! From when I was doing C25k last time (completed Week 6 then stopped for whatever reason I can't remember) I can remember Weeks 5 and 6 being very tough! But, it's just 6 days I've gotta get through right? And at the end I'll be fitter and…
New (again)
Hello everyone! I just thought I should introduce myself. My name is Hanna, I'm from Sweden, 29 yol and mum of a monster (1,5) I have been overweight since forever but really succeded three years ago. dropped 20 kgs from jan to june. Thanks to C25K and MFP! Then came the summer with all its good drinks, food and…
Just done W4D1... woah!
Today's run was tough. Not sure if it was because the running time has increased or because I did it in an evening and I usually run in the morning. To keep myself motivated I've booked myself into a 5k race in a couple of months time, eep!!! Where is everyone else at on the programme? TCG
Running at a Higher Weight
I found this blog post on here about beginning to run if you are at a higher weight. It helped me a lot and I thought it may help some of you and I didn't want you to miss it. http://blog.myfitnesspal.com/2014/05/im-heavy-and-running-to-lose-weight-should-i-worry-about-my-knees/ Take care! Mandy
