Hi everyone! New to the group
Hi my name is Cindy, I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor in September 2013. My life has been like a roller coaster I'm so tired of being tired. And I feel like unless you are going through what I am nobody will understand. I used to be active but for the past year everything has changed. I've gained about 38 pounds and…
Looking for fellow friends who are PITastic :)
Hi All, A brief introduction: I'm Jess. I've had a pituitary tumor for some time. It was first discovered when, as a child (age 12-13), I gained tons of weight and had severe symptoms. (It took 'em a few years to find the source.) It came back as a late teen and ever since, I've struggled with low/non-functioning thyroid,…
say hello
Just realized that the say hello topic wasn't showing up. This is a thread to introduce yourself :)
what meds are working for you?
I recently started dostinex (cabergoline) and am finding it a lot better than bromocriptine. I only have to take it twice a week and then in a few months once a week so I only feel sick one or two days instead of every day. I feel really positive about this medication. What is working or not working for you?

I have been losing weight slowly but regularly. I've hit a plateau right now so I'm switching up the exercise that i do. I'm still having…
Bromocriptine
Hello, Just wondering if anyone else in the group has taken or is taking bromocriptine. I saw my doctor yesterday and he did some blood work and told me he will most likely put me back on it in two weeks. I know from last time I took it I was dizzy and nauseas all the time. Do you have any tips on how to manage these side…
My story
Hello! I started my weight loss journey about 7 months ago. So far with diet and exercise I've lost about 5lbs. I was diagnosed with an enlarged pituitary gland and high prolactin about 1 year ago. It has made me gain quite a lot of weight very quickly and made it very difficult to take it off. I'm hoping to start meds…
