Just wanted to see how each of you are doing - where you're at - if you're finished, etc... and what you plan to do next! I finish up level 2 tomorrow!!! Very excited to move on to level 3 on Monday. I'm giving myself 2 weeks to finish up level 3 since next weekend is all about the 15k on Saturday morning! At the end of…
Hey guys! FINALLY got some face time with Jillian this morning after taking six - yes SIX - whole days off. I just finished day 7 of level 1, and was happy that despite the time off I was able to do most exercises with the 5 pound weights. I did slack off on the cardio near the end, and I couldn't do as many push ups as I…
Having completed day 1 I most say that level 3 is most certainly not easy, BUT it is far more enjoyable than level 2. One of my favorites from level 1 is back - punching in a squat position, but with weights this time around. And there's actual sit-ups, I haven't done one of those in ages. :) So if you are on level 1 or 2…
Is it just me or is level 2 killing your motivation? For some reason, it does not some as fun as level 1 and I don't want to do it as much. The only good thing about it is my abs are actually sore which means the planks must be working - but I'm not motivated to stick with level 2. I'm considering moving up to level 3 just…
So last week I was 180.6lbs.. i decided i needed a really good week because i really wanted to get back down to the 180 like I was before my vacation... so did 30 day shred every night this week, ate yogourt and fruits for breakfast, salads for lunch and good healthy suppers every night!! Had no snacking except healthy…
Today will be day 5 of level 2 and I must say that the worst move for me is when you do the front and back lunges. I can't seem to be able to keep up with these. I find them hard on my knees and I also find it's hard to go from one to the other that quickly while maintaining good form. I get very frustrated because i…
OK YESTERDAY WAS MY FIRST DAY. IT KICK MY BUTT. BUT IAM WILLING TO DO THE WORK.
Well, I have not done the 30 Day Shred these last couple of days because I have to get up early to get it in and I've been exhausted and fighting a bug so I figured the sleep would benefit me more right now. However, I have gone to the gym during lunch and incorporated some of the ab workouts from 30DS. Can I just say WOW.…
Good morning my 30DS friends! I completed Level 1 Day 8 this morning. It's getting much easier. The squats with the shoulder presses and the side lunges with the arm raises are still super tough for me. And I'm still doing the modified pushups, but at least I can get through both sets without stopping. Also, my dog has…
Sooo dumb. I ran on my parents' elliptical machine a couple days ago and I guess I pushed myself a bit too hard and really hurt my knee. I decided to forgo 30DS for the day in hopes of a quick recovery, but now I'm stressed that this will become a real set back. Any advice welcome! What should I do :(
