  • I clicked on this topic just so I could gush about the awesomeocity of Jack's Pizza. I always cook it for longer than it says so the cheese gets to a dark brown. Yummo!
  • Iced Tea. I put a little sweet n low in mine, but if that's not your thing, then you can omit.
  • I just recently discovered PB2. I bought some on a whim after reading about it in the forums. I used it to make PB for my apples. Wasn't the same, but it smelled divine. I guess I just want the oily taste, lol
  • I will try anything you put in front of me, but I will not eat (knowingly) eat onions. I only like crunchy stuff if I know what it is before hand, and even then, if my mind gets away from me and I start thinking about onions, I have to stop eating. Oddly enough, I like the flavor that onions give food. For instance, when I…
  • I didn't state "on the record." I stated my opinion. I did a quick google search and offered an opinion. I didn't tell OP that it was a bad idea, I didn't say not to do it. I stated my opinion.

  • I make everything in a casserole dish, and then slice it like a cake. It's probably not super accurate, but it works for me.
  • I've never tried it, so have no experience to speak from, but I will say this: any diet that says I have to not eat for 2 whole days is not for me. I like to eat.

  • Maybe grilled apples or pineapples. Or asparagus.
  • I let MFP do mine. I told it what I weigh, how much I wanted to lose and how quickly I want to lose it. They did the calculations and come up with 1680 calories per day. That's what I use. I know that there is a calculation you can do yourself, but I don't know exactly what it is.
  • I need to lose around a 130 pounds. I'm all about gaining new friends. feel free to add me!
  • I would eat PB with every meal. When I was pregnant I used to eat it with a spoon, right out of the container.
  • This morning I had quaker maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal. I originally made it for my daughter, and tested it to make sure it wasn't too hot for her. It was pretty damn good, so I made myself some. using 2% milk instead of water, it's 240 calories. 4.5 hours later, and I'm still satiated. I know it's not the very…
  • I am on my 2nd Mirena device. I had the first one put in 6 weeks after my daughter was born, and had it for 5 years. I had my current one put in 3 weeks after the 1st one being taken out and still have it. I love that I don't have any periods. I love that I won't get pregnant. I never even thought to make a connection…
  • I have a love/hate relationship with Mountain Dew, the same way people have a love/hate relationship with alcohol. I can't have just one. When I decided to make my lifestyle change, I knew pop had to go. First and foremost, I knew it wasn't good for my weight loss plan, because I know that if I have 1, I'm having 10.…
  • I love tacos. I could have tacos every day. Some people replace the shells with lettuce, or the ground beef with turkey, but nope. I want tacos. ground beef, sour cream, cheese, taco sauce, the whole nine yards. I don't " make these healthy," I just make sure I save enough calories to eat them. Edited to add: that picture…
  • I preach youtube until I'm blue in the face. It is a limitless source of free workout videos. Anything from Jillian Michaels, to FitnessBlender, to Pop Sugar and beyond. Kettlebells, body weight, cardio - anything your heart desires, really.
  • I wish there was a like button for posts.
  • You cannot be using the mobile site. You must log in via computer in order to see certain setting options. Off topic, but isn't dinner/supper the same thing? Maybe it's a regional thing, but where I'm from, we have breakfast, lunch, dinner/supper. Anything else is snacks. No judgment - I'm just curious.
  • I wash my face every morning in the shower and I wash it after I exercise. I don't exfoliate. I also moisturize after I wash it. It may or not be the cause. I don't know. I was just throwing my hat into the ring.
  • This may be a bit, "duh" but do you shower/wash your face/ect after exercising?
  • like many other posters, the 1st week was the easiest for me. I'm motivated! All these recipes I'm finding online look amazing! I can do this! Then, you're tired of salads for lunches. You're tired of salmon for supper and oatmeal for breakfast. You don't want to exercise because the thought of showering (for the 2nd time…
  • I don't know about where you live, but in my area, we have a lot of Zumba at local churches, schools, ect. We have one at the ice rink during the summer (since it's closed), and they move it somewhere else during the winter. Maybe look into that!
  • Youtube will be your best bet, IMO. There's a channel for a group called ReFitRev and they are awesome. I don't know what your taste in music is, but they have family friendly music and family friendly moves. I would go to YouTube, type in "Zumba" and watch your search results explode.
  • If I'm entering stuff into MFP, I'll search (as an example) for "jasmine rice grams," and I'll search for something that gives me the option of 1gram, and then I can enter in my number of grams. My food scale weighs in ounces, pounds and kilograms, so the process would be the same.
  • When I was pregnant, I was severely dehydrated. The doctor told me to drink more water, and I basically told him the same thing you just said. He told me to add Crystal Light to my water. Worked like a charm. Do you drink coffee or like tea? Although too much tea can cause kidney stones (I think that's a caffeine thing,…
  • Going to work, knowing my boss isn't going to be there that day.
  • I usually want a snack a couple of hours after supper. This is when I usually want chips or ice cream. I try drinking water. If this doesn't help, I go to bed. Seriously. That is the only thing keeping me from downing a whole bag of dill pickle potato chips.
  • Thanks, guys! I'm thinking that maybe I'm not getting enough water, or enough to eat, although I never thought of that. I don't usually eat my workout calories, but maybe I will start doing that. As a (former) avid pop drinker (5-7 cans of mt dew per day), I'm still trying to get used to this water thing. I am up to about…
  • Youtube will be your best resource, IMO. Specifically the fitnessblender channel. They have MANY work out videos on there. If you don't mind the ads that sometimes happen between videos (I use these as my "get water and shake it out" time), then you should be able to find a plethora of videos on there.
