  • Get as fit as possible before the op and particular work on your core. Make sure you don't comfort eat before/after the op (find other ways of cheering yourself up whilst you're recovering) and do start exercising as soon as your doc gives you the all clear, and you should be fine.   • Eggs all ways are good: poached and served with crumbled feta, wilted spinach or asparagus and a little fresh chilli poached with fresh guacamole omelette with mushrooms scrambled with tomato and chives scrambled Mexican style with onions and peppers .... the list goes on And frittata made with eggs and whatever veg and…

  • Thanks all - given that I am going to basically do power plate every other day I think the hair of the dog thing should be sorted. I will try and do some yoga as well as cardio on the alternate days as the yoga should work the same muscles as power plate, but more gently.
