Sounds like a good plan. I've lost 33lbs myself. I think that one should probably not worry if they go over the total for the day as long as they are under the Saturated and Trans fats numbers (whatever number you've set for yourself).

thanks for the responses. I weigh myself every day at the same time (after shower in the A.M) and before eating. I'll just watch it. So far so good. Lost 20lb.

So does MFP take your profile data into account when doing the calculating then? I'm not using the steps calculation as a daily exercise, but wonder about the accuracy in regards to using it to measure caloric food intake. For instance, one day it said I did 13,000 steps and burned something like 450 calories for the day.…

It does in mine. The Iphone 5s (and I'm assuming 6 and 6+) have accelerometer in them. It tracks my steps as long as my phone is in my pocket.

Honestly, I've found that to be a tough goal. 1500 is hard enough. I recommend more exercise and up the calories a bit. Also be sure to spread it out so you are not so hungry.

Just did some research on that. Seems like Cream of Wheat is somewhere in between. Not much fiber, but good in the areas you mentioned.

Love Cream of Wheat myself :) But it's such a simple carbohydrate that it goes through me like ramen noodles...in that i'm hungry in a half hour.

Well, I scan most of my food with the app. I guess in my circumstance I actually go for accurate measures (as can be measured on the side of a box that is). That's Interesting on the labeling. Thanks for the Info. I'm due to talk to the doctor soon anyhow.
