I need this. The smell of PSL is all over campus but I've been settling for a 'chai latte' made in main dining. The only place with half and half in a dispenser instead of those little cups!

I bike, walk, lift things(not formal weights), and do a small amount of body weight exercises. Nothing extreme, but it's not for lack of energy, it's for lack of time!

From a purely biological standpoint I agree with wabmester. The only thing I can think of would be if those fat cells which are now being used are releasing certain levels of hormones which trigger an autonomic response that causes some level of inflammation or pain. Then our brains, lovely creatures that they are, pull up…

I'd think it wOuld need lots more spices than that. But I don't use pumpkin spice mix, I use a bunch of seasoning until it smells right.

I do shoot for a 1200 calorie minimum. Some days it's just not happening. I don't worry about those days unless they're more than 3 in the past 7 days. That said, if youre having lots of 'not hungry, blah food, ewww' kind of days that aren't being filled in between with a fairly equal 'all the food, steak, burger, mayo'…

Some kind of duck/goose/turkey hybrid....

Net 35, but usually not much fiber. Maybe 5-10 grams per day, generally. I count net because I go pretty nuts without summer fruits, and broccoli. When winter comes I might drop down to 20 total again.
-
80 ounces a day minimum, and 120 when it's hot or if im very active. But I count all liquids. So, 2 12 oz cups of coffee in the morning, 3 more throughout the day, 1-2 16 oz glasses of water(sometimes with crystal light but not often) with lunch if I don't feel like coffee, and then either 8oz milk or 16oz iced tea with…

College in one picture. We're by and large legally adults. But we'd still behave like school children if there was ever a situation. Need adultier adults, and they need the next level of adults.

Regular soda, and very limited diet soda intake. I can binge on rootbeer. I replaced popcorn with celery, too many calories in popcorn to eat mindlessly.

I gave up on cleaning, I swear the time it takes me to clean from one end of the house to the other is precisely how long it takes spider webs and dust to re accumulate.

My college has an all you can eat dinner service. The guys I was eating with the other day each had between 6-8 slices of pizza(big slices), 2-3 helpings of salad, a burger and fries, sushi, and then cake for dessert. They also carried about half a pizza back to their dorms for 'late night munchies'. I honestly don't know…

I shop the markdown section a lot. Safeway marks down meat at night, so if I can get there at 6-630 am there are some good deals. Raleys markdown is more random, so it's hit and miss but has some nice steaks and roasts. I also buy at costco quite a bit for ground beef, rotisserie chickens. The best deals are from buying…

I've been curious about this stuff for awhile. It sounds like it would be good, and I already make yogurt. Can't be that much harder. Any recommendations on a brand to try to see if I like it before I jump into the brewing my own thing?

I do this. If it's fiber I subtract it, if it's not fiber I count it. That said, unless I'm eating a block of cheese in a day, or more than a few ounces of hwc I don't worry about the usually minuscule carbs contained therein. Also, mfp does add up all the .something carbs into your total. IE, my hwc has .1 carbs per…

Maybe theres another lawsuit. The one I'm thinking of had nothing to do with calling it "milk", it had to do with quantity of actual nut in the mix. False advertising and fraud I think. And yes, all dairy milks are close to that but they also have a lot more (milk) solids than a nut milk does nut solids as far as I know.
-
Id make my own, all the nut milks are something like 95% water. There's a lawsuit against blue diamond right now.

Is it the pumpkin loaf from ruled.me? I've been meaning to try that, but with vital wheat gluten and some yeast mixed in. I need some quick breakfast for school.
-
That is a very accurate pyramid for my diet. It works well for me.
-
Meat, water, coffee, tea. Salt and pepper for the meat if you want. An ounce of cheese per day.
-
Since I didn't realize we were on probation, what does that mean currently and after we aren't anymore? Confused.

I don't eat more, but I repostion them throughout the day. Ie, nectarine right before the workout instead of with bfast

My mom came up with some good ideas in addition to what's on that thread. Posole(leave out the hominy) Ground beef with mushrooms Pre-made bpc. Going to make it in pint mason jars and store in the fridge, microwave and shake it up each morning. Batch cooking bacon for blts. Preportioned celery and peanut/coconut butter.…

I'd go with more protein as wabmester suggests. I eat more protein than that and I'm a young female.

KISS Goals:* Start C25K. Going to the gym without a set program/plan is not helping me. It just adds mental stress about which machine to use. * Meal prep. I spend way too much time trying to put together lunch every morning. * Keep my laundry done each weekend. Not diet or exercise related, but a huge source of stress for…

Atkins would be the only one I know of that would come close to this. I have a cafe carmel shake from them, 15 g protein and 9 g fat. So about half calories from fat if memories serve, 3 net carbs. Not really "hf" but better that way than the premier.

I'm in the jawbone group, have an up move that I love. But it's really not a discussion based group like this one. It functions as a nice bulletin board area. "My jawbone steps aren't syncing! Anyone else having this issue on *fill in date*" and then people respond yes or no, and the one lady in particular is super keyed…
-
Simple. Not sure what I'd simplify, maybe focus on batch cooking to simplify my lunches, or sweetening my coffee less. Hrrmm.

Premier protein strawberries and cream! :p I love that stuff. Doesn't stall me out, comes premixed, and is tolerable not straight out of the fridge. 30 g protein, 2 g net carbs(4 total), not much for fat. 160 cals per 11 0z. Goes on good sales at costco and stores well in it's tetrapaks.

Skipped straight to the comments. Worth it.
