That looks wonderful on you! Have a great time...

I think the reason it changed was not because you changed your goal - it was because you have already lost over 20 pounds. You see as you lose weight your intake of calories goes down little by little and I beleive MFP is to recalculate it at every 10 pounds lost. However, it does not always reset automatically, so when…

Welcome! it is great that you already have someone to support you on this journey. It sounds like you have some plans for meeting you goal already - that is great!

I have never tried a gazelle - but I did put together a room in my house with equipment I got off craigslist. Got a Schwinn upright exercise bike and a treadmill. We sold some excess furniture I had in the house that we were not using - so it was basically a wash in what we sold and what we bought with $0 out of pocket --…

Congrats! What an inspiration!

Yes - all great advise! What have you got to lose by being open to that fact that you might have met someone you should see about getting to know....take it slow and see what happens. You might end up with friend that likes fitness -- not a bad thing at all. Or who knows - I had a 'coffee buddy' I met with once a week as…

You look really great right now! While you would also look beautiful with bangs - take from someone that has had bangs for years, they do take lots of trimming (about every 3 weeks for me) so if you are not good at doing that yourself - think twice on it.

This is great for when you are away from home and are not able to measure and weigh like you can at home. Thank you for posting!

Excellent! Thank you for sharing - very inspirational. Way to go!

I know how hard this can be - I have written personally.

Hi and welcome! I am a 55 year old 'new' Grandma. My Granddaughter was born in September. This is a great place for support.

Its all good - there are weeks you lose more and weeks that will be less. I average a one pound a week loss, but a couple weeks ago I lost 3, last week 0.6 and this week 0.02. That is one reason I don't set unreasonable goals for myself and just keep working my program based on the recommended one pound loss per week.…

Way to go! What an uplifting couple of days - you are an inspiration!

I make something heathy that I really like and bring it as my dish to share. I also bring along some raw vegies and I nibble on them on the way to make sure I don't arrive too hungry. When going through the potluck line I take a portion of my own healthy dish and fill in with fruits, vegies, green salad stuff. I try to…

Wow - huge difference. WTG on your loss.

Work people can be insensitive and rude. Don't let that get to you - you can show her she is wrong without words, just by continuing your program. Keep doing what you are doing and smile when you see her knowing she has no power to get to you (that will make the smile come easy). You can do this! Look at the results you…

You should be okay. I have needed to stop exercising here and there for similar things and it has worked out just fine. Take care of yourself and when your healed up from the wistom teeth be careful to take it slow and listen to your body so as not to overdo too quickly.

Potato chips! Thankfully I am blessed with not really liking cheesecake - whew!

Hi - sent you a private message - feel free to 'friend me'!

I would keep doing what you are doing and see what the scale shows in another week. Sometimes when I have a big drop on the scale, the next week it doesn't budge. When I stick with it another week, then I lose again. For me, its a life style change long term, so I don't get too worried about a week where the scale stays…

Do what makes for feel comfortable. As for me, this is a life style change and part of living it to me is learning to stay on track without weighing in. When I go on a business trip or a vacation - I don't take my scale. I weigh when I get home, even if it is on a different day. I do continue tracking my food and work to…

Mixed nuts, sunflower seeds, bananas, tomatoes, cucumbers, pears, cantalope and many other foods are all good sources of potasium.
