Need some help!

So, one of the things I love most about MFP is becoming aware of which nutrients I lack, get in excess, etc.... I am usually able to adjust things to balance them out a little, however, I just cannot seem to get anywhere near enough potassium! I take a potassium supplement each day, but still only manage to get 200-300 mg of the 3500 mg it says I should have. Any thoughts, tips, advice would be great.

  • Mixed nuts, sunflower seeds, bananas, tomatoes, cucumbers, pears, cantalope and many other foods are all good sources of potasium.

    Thank You! I will see what I can switch around to get some of those foods in without going over my calories. :)

    Sweet potatoes are loaded with it.

    Regular white potatoes are also loaded with potassium.
